  2. My brother in law battled a crippling gambling addiction. It cost him everything: His wife (my sister), his kids, multiple jobs, his friends (everyone got sick of loaning him money). He's finally back on his feet, but man. It was ugly. Because it's not alcohol or drugs it feels like a different thing, but gambling destroy lives just as much as those addictions. Not a fan of Bruno, but I hope he gets the help he needs if true.

  3. A person who participated in one of the test screenings of "Joker: Folie à Deux" said what he thought of the film: - "The film is super bloody, chaotic, aggressive, surrealist, but somehow faithful to its essence." - "Gaga and Joaquin are on the same level in performance. Zazie and Brendan also did great jobs." - "It's a little longer and has some editing and script problems. I hope they fix it." - "Overall, it's a film that tries to establish a balance to please critics and the masses." -"The musical aspect is not presented in a conventional way. They sing, of course, but it works in a different pattern. Very risky, but fcking genius."

  4. Me: an og Gaga fan w/ schizophrenia and c-ptsd who would most definitely spiral and get re-committed if I watched this and/or 90% other films ever made :c I was hoping maybe there’s the slightest chance I could handle it but I just don’t think there is :c but I’ll be rooting for her critical claim and praises all around :,> I want her and EVERYONE to always feel fulfillment, pride, and freedom in their own creations :3 I’ll be watching interwebs during joker for killer PR looks and interviews with the lady and continue summoning lg7 with my stimky brain and heart in the meantime,, currently.

  7. Ariana Grande achieves her sixth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart as Eternal Sunshine bows atop the list (dated March 23), launching with 227,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 14, according to Luminate. Eternal’s opening frame also marks the largest week of 2024 for any album. Of Eternal Sunshine’s 227,000 units earned in the tracking week ending March 14, SEA units comprise 148,000 (equaling 194.92 million on-demand official streams of the set’s songs), album sales comprise 77,000 and TEA units comprise 2,000. Eternal’s first-week start is the largest of 2024 so far, surpassing the debut of Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1, which bowed with 148,000 (chart dated Feb. 24). Eternal’s first-week sales were bolstered by the set’s availability across 12 physical configurations (six vinyl and six CD offerings, all with the same tracklist), a standard digital download (in clean and explicit versions) and a “slightly deluxe” digital download (clean and explicit, which added four bonus tracks – all remixes and alternative versions of songs on the standard album). All six of the vinyl editions were ruby red-colored, and five offered alternate cover art. (Of the latter five editions, four were sold exclusively through Grande’s official webstore, and one of them was exclusive to Target.) Combined, her vinyl sales totaled 33,000 — her largest week on vinyl ever, surpassing the 32,000 first-week sales of Positions in 2021. As for the CD editions, there was a widely available standard CD, four variants (all with alternate cover art) sold in Grande’s webstore, and a signed edition (also sold via her webstore).

  10. Gambling is a mental illness similar to alcoholism and drug addiction. I think we should be more tolerant, seeing that this is a website where a lot of us have some form of mental health issue one way or another.

  13. The fact that some of y’all are surprised there’s gore shows that y’all didn’t watch the first movie Joker literally shoots 4 guys in the first film (all of which are gory and violent) and he literally stabs a guy in the neck and eye and bashes his head against the wall I’m not surprised there’s gore in this film, if anything, I expect there to be more because instead of dealing with one crazy person, we’ll have two

  14. Taylor also has Target exclusive so it's 13 and Dua doesn't have regular CD, only lenticular Dua fans can just choose the color they like the most, while Taylor fans have to buy multiple versions to get 1 bonus song.

I’m nervous, but I’m ready. Everybody's ready for it I mean that's what everybody wants.” "My next announcement will not be like a single type s***. It will be my album cover, one single and yall getting the album."

  24. But fans really don’t need to buy any more than one edition in this scenario to own all the songs, it’s solely a cosmetic and collector choice at this point. That’s why you can’t give Ariana, Olivia, etc. flack either. Taylor’s fans had to buy four different versions if they wanna own every song from their fave’s new album
