  1. I don’t at all advocate for the bullying that some people indulge in when it comes to her. I believe all criticism ought to be constructive in some way, and some people take that to an unhealthy and unreasonable extreme. That said, there are legitimate reasons for fans, especially long time fans, to be frustrated and that criticism comes from a place of love. She has made a few questionable decisions lately and people that have supported her have every right to criticize them. She of course owes them and everyone else nothing, but that doesn’t remove the grounds for criticism. And I do think that those fans are getting unfairly lumped in with the ones taking it too far which is not entirely fair. Some fans don’t want her criticized at all which is also unhealthy. Of course there is an appropriate and respectful way to go about it that some ignore and they are deserving of a call out. But these conversations often grow to include people who aren’t behaving that way.

  2. So basically, I've seen quite a lot of people on here and other social media platforms HARASSING this woman for doing other thing than dark music. When I tell you I become so mad at this, I'M TELLING YOU. This is the same woman who you claim to have saved your life yet you attack her for doing make-up or enjoying life. Why can't we just be grateful for her to even exist? She's done a lot for various communities like the LGBT, make us see fashion the right way (yknow), SA victims, musicians affected for covid... Be grateful and thank this woman for existing. Be nice.

  4. I never understood these obsessions. And I don't even mean the Harry Potter/Disney adults. To those who agree with Miriam - Why is it enjoyable to put down others because of what they like? So what if John and Kathy want to have a Harry Potter-themed wedding - maybe they met at Universal Studios and Harry Potter meant a lot to their relationship. Like I don't get the infatuation with calling people out for what they like. I equate bashing "disney adults" and furries, etc. to homophobic people putting down members of LGTBQIA+ for what they like/don't like. It's frankly super childish to me and I'll never understand why it's socially acceptable to bully others for this kind of thing. But anyway.. let me get off my soap box for a bit.

  5. The style has been so consistent lately. She is 10000% heavily invested in the next era's aesthetic at this point I think. And it's an amazing one

  6. Most probably, that hair style is sticking. She's always debuting her coming eras' style before it actually starts

  9. The comment responses on Twitter are a hot mess. Everyone suspecting from Cardi B to Normani to Miley. What bothers me is, why would they brand it as the "New Madonna" considering Madonna is a) still alive and b) not a machine that's easily replicated or manufactured in a factory somewhere? That just bothers me because it's literally saying that our reigning Queen of Pop for over 40 years is old and outdated and that is completely untrue even if some albums are hit or miss from time to time.

  10. There is no escape. There is nowhere to run. There is a variant for every consumer past, present, and future. Every household will own one. Every knee shall bow. Taylor has partnered with the Biden Administration. If you do not buy one, one will be given to you and the cost will come directly out of your paycheck plus a $1,989 noncompliance fee. Evermore, the unemployed will be assigned merch stand duties to pay off their debt at the payrate of $19.89 a month. The Gestapo (Taylor's Version) will be performing weekly household checks ensuring the government issued variant has been played enough. Do not attempt to lie to them; they will be checking the grooves for wear and tear. Do not fight it. The battle has been lost and baby now we got Bad Blood. All hail Swift.

  11. This is so The Fame Monster even the way she poses, it's like she's in character already! Urgh if LG7 explores that aesthetic again

  12. Its disgusting for a label to market an artist as the new X.

  13. Because she’s sticking to the sound of FN but just not as good. It’s literally Katy Perry syndrome, same sound but decrease in quality with each proceeding album. She needed to let the FN sound cool off and show people another side or some versatility. She has access to the producers, the writers, and most importantly she has the vocal capacity to experiment. I thought the red hair was gonna come with a pop punk or pop rock sound, that would have really been a moment for her. Her feature on Prisoner with Miley was a sign she could do it.

  14. No shade because I actually think Houdini is doing great as a hit. But knowing her label was in 'we want another FN smash album' mode, I'd say they are unhappy with the reception of her new music. That would explain why still no announcement for DL3 release date and title

  22. People need to stop blaming haus labs for all their issues with how long it's been since we had music
    14 points
  23. Eh I don't know about this. Life is depressing as ****. If people use fantasy to escape it all and it isn't hurting anyone then what's the issue?

  24. She genuinely has the worst fans in the world lol y’all deserve trash

  25. Good. I honestly hope her next era will focus on quality music and won't be just a way for her to do advertisements and deals with companies for quick cash.

  29. Some of y’all are so annoying. Haus Labs isn’t the reason we aren’t getting any music. She’s proven dozens of times before that she can do multiple things at once. Would it be nice if we got some new music? Absolutely. That doesn’t mean the irrational Haus Labs hate is warranted

  34. This 100%. I was very much defending her throughout Joanne, Chromatica and her forays into Jazz and acting. I thought fans were being dramatic and overreacting when fans were saying she’s boring or not doing anything or enough. A lot of it came from a very rude place. Me personally, I would never slander her, but I’ve gotten to the point where I just have lost a lot of interest in Gaga because of here choices lately, and lack there of with her music career. People can be upset all they want with other people who share this opinion, but sadly she’s not the artist I personally fell in love with back when The Fame dropped. That’s okay, that’s life. people change and so do things you liked. Nobody is obligated to support anything, but there is a way for fans to be civil about it.

  35. I am against being a hater just for the sake of hating but there are legitimate reasons to be irritated with her and it is fine to express those reasons. I do think there is a tendency to blow things out of proportion which comes from a place of frustration, I will admit that I have been guilty of this myself sometimes. I think monsters have adjusted to and even embraced many of the changes she has made in her career since ARTPOP. But if you are expecting everyone on this site to turn a blind eye to some of her questionable advertising gimmicks, that was never going to happen.

  38. hi i just wanted to say anyone that is sending hateful messages to the people in my life based on your interpretation of this album is not supporting me and is absolutely doing the polar opposite of what i would ever encourage (and is also entirely misinterpreting the intention behind the music)... i ask that you please do not. it is not how to support me. it is the opposite. although this album captures a lot of painful moments, it also is woven together with a through line of deep, sincere love. if you cannot hear that, please listen more closely. thank you.
