If we try to look at the past days in a not emotional way…. This year she was more active, paparazzi, studiopics, social media than the past years…. Before stupid love she had the Oprah event, some charity stuff and Haus labs ready before she came with music…. It’s not that different this time and could still all lead up to a release very soon.

I’m a strong believer that LG7 is coming sooner rather than later, it truly doesn’t make sense for her to release during Joker, and if it’s post Joker/TBC 2025 then I don’t think she’d be posting/teasing half as much as she is right now. The Fortnite collaboration being Chromatica themed makes sense because she wouldn’t launch a brand new era with the collab, and obviously Fortnite would have a date in mind for the concert, but it works very nicely as a way of building hype / bringing in new audiences. But today I was scrolling through and realised the initial set of studio images were probably the biggest hint to the release, and I wonder if the ‘tik tok tik tok’ was meant to be a countdown for each week till an announcement. She posted it on Friday Feb 9, so I’m thinking could there be an announcement on Friday March 9? This would tie perfectly into an April release and summer album. Lending nicely to Joker’s release in October. Obviously just my opinion, but it’s fun to speculate!

Not her fault. It's SG tourism board that initiated it. She must have considered a lot of stuffs to agree to it. And as someone who lived in that SEA area for many years, let's just say that Singapore is the best place to holds these shows. The country is placed strategically. The transport are plenty and a breeze there. It is safe. And the political climate is neutral. Language barrier is minimal since English is widely spoken there. Not to mention a lot of SEA people already visiting Singapore for leisure , some even doing every weekend since there are a lot of cheap flights from around SEA countries to SG. Y'all should already knew places like Indonesia, Brunei, and Malaysia will be a tough sell. Beyonce cancelled her show years ago in Malaysia cos she doesn't like to be mandated to compromise her show and costumes to respect the Muslims values. And Gaga had to cancel her BTW in Indonesia after violence threats given if she still proceed with the show. And she also faced a lot of protest in Philipinnes.

Unless I'm missing something, Gaga hasn't said one thing about when LG7 is dropping. She said it's in a vault and potions take time. That's it. Right? Am I forgetting something? It's those "insiders" who made us think something might be around the corner. Not her. It's not her fault we all wanted to believe them! Oh, and it was fun anyway. The LG7 Hype Train thread has been a BLAST. But, yeah, most likely it's coming in the summer. (Which is fine. Beyonce, Taylor and probably Billie will be everywhere for the next few months.)

the major difference is these are not "10 versions of the same album" – they're different versions with different bonus songs, and it's a pretty brazen way to increase her first-week sales because the thinking is "diehard fans" will shell out the money to buy 4 copies. it's also telling that there are exactly 4 versions – i.e. the max number of copies that Billboard allows one person to buy of the same album before it counts as one sale. If she released one more bonus version, then a fan who buys all 5 versions would only count as one unit. If they buy all 4, that counts as 4 units. this is different than releasing a ton of alternate covers of the same album (which she also does, but I think people have less of an issue with that). In this case, she's purposefully avoiding releasing a complete body of work to boost her chart success, when she'll definitely release it all together after the album's already out and she's snagged another 1+ million debut week.
