Hi Little Monsters. I'm Joca, also a Little Monster and a Fortnite player since 2017! I know everything about this game and how it works (collabs, items, events, etc) so if you're kinda confused of what is going on, keep reading! I'm pretty sure that you've seen that Gaga has been featured in Fortnite *FESTIVAL*. But what is it ? what is Fortnite Festival ? imma tell you. Fortnite is a game that contains a LOT of different modes for you to play, kinda like ROBLOX... and one of this modes is the Fortnite Festival, when people read the word Festival they thought that it would be another Virtual Fortnite Perfomance, like Ariana's one. But it is actually not it! (unfortunately). Fortnite Festival is basically the copy of Guitar Hero. And there will be the Lady Gaga Fortnite Festival *Pass*. We're in the Season 2 of the Fortnite Festival Pass, last season the highlited artist was The Weeknd, and there wasn't any event, only his character to buy and unlock! The pass is something that you unlock once (buy it) and you have 11 levels, you need to do some tasks and get XP to unlock the next level. and in this case (gagas pass) the last level is the Lady Gaga Character that you can use it in every game mode you want! The items on the top are for free. you don't need to unlock the pass to get it. but the other ones with the lock icon, they are pass exclusive. the pass costs 1800 V-bucks (the fortnite coin) AND REMEMBER, you buy the pass and need to complete tasks to go to the next level! (i can do another topic explaining more fortnite [aka fortnight] if you want) These are the current VBucks prices. This is the Gaga's skin and the items inspired by her that are going to the ITEM SHOP, you don't need to buy the Festival Pass for this one! but it's a Pack of items that COST VBUCKS TOO. Fun Fact, when you buy items in fortnite you don't get any power or advantage. they are only COSMETICS. These are the songs that will be featured in Fortnite Festival (Poker Face is included in the Fortnite Festival Pass). You can choose to play Bass, Base (Guitar, Synths, Pads), Drums or Vocal! All of the Fortnite Festival songs come and go everyday to play. if you want to play them foreva and anytime you want, you need to buy each song for 500 Vbucks in the Item Shop! is anyone else starting to get annoyed that he’s saying all this now?? we all know this is how casting works, but it feels so weird to say all this after he insisted for years up until recently that he only ever thought of gaga. i saw a tweet that was like “wow he’s really telling us about the other 98 people in the room” it feels like he’s saying anything that’ll make headlines right before voting starts tomorrow (even though he’s not winning…about to be a 12 time oscar loser)

It might not necessarily have to do with her wanting to extend the era. Ga is not as big with Gen Z as Taylor is but she is still a business brand. Think about it. How many ways can she realistically get the most people talking about her at this point in time? Specifically young people who have time to stream and money to spend. The only people that even know about Chromatica are us diehard fans. Don’t forget she did not really promote this album so the music will be fresh to a younger audience (like Bloody Mary and HML). Fortnite is where the youth and biggest Twitch streamers are at right now and it will keep her in the public interest for LG7 and Joker. That’s a GOOD thing. It might feel like she’s not letting go of an old era (to us) but not to the rest of the world. At worst it’s just her completing a contractual obligation. Something bigger is coming, brace yourselves because I think year will be ours. My straight friends have been messaging me all day about it (they’re not Gaga fans) so obviously her team did something right. I just pray they don’t drop the ball. It would help if her own fans can spread some positivity on social media. And lastly, Chromatica is a great album that deserves to be heard. She deserves one final moment in the spotlight so we don’t reminisce in 10 years and feel sad not more was done. Babylon or Replay gaining recognition would just be icing on the cake and we can enter the LG7 era on a positive note.

I asked my 15 year old niece what this was gonna be like exactly and she was like, “OMG I AM SO EXCITED! SHE IS SUCH A BADASS AND SO TALENTED! Well, I am here to answer as many of these questions as possible. I've been playing Fortnite almost daily for over 6 years and the information in this thread comes from my experience with the game. What is Fortnite? Fortnite is a popular online multiplayer video game developed by Epic Games. It features two main game modes: "Save the World," a cooperative shooter-survival game where players fend off waves of zombie-like creatures, and "Battle Royale," a free-to-play last-player-standing mode where up to 100 players fight to be the last one standing on a shrinking island map. The game is known for its cartoonish graphics, building mechanics, frequent updates, and cultural impact, attracting millions of players worldwide. Why is Gaga in Fortnite? Gaga will be joining the likes of many celebrities and iconic figures who’ve been featured in the game, such as The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Marvel Super Heroes, John Wick, and Mr. Beast just to name a few. Gaga will most likely be featured on the Fortnite Festival event of the game. What is Fortnite Festival? Fortnite Festival is a new music-driven, rhythm-based game, and Epic experience. Fortnite Festival is playable as two unique experiences: Fortnite Festival Main Stage and Fortnite Festival Jam Stage. In both modes, players can party up with 3 others (max 4). In Fortnite Festival Main Stage, players can party up and play through a licensed soundtrack of some global hits and Fortnite originals. Select your control method (instrument) of choice, set your difficulty level, and ready up! In Fortnite Jam Stage, create your own unique mash-ups with your friends, using Jam Loops, key selections, and even tempo. Festival Pass levels are available for V-bucks (in game currency) after upgrading the Festival Pass. Will I be able to play as Gaga? Yes! She will most likely get 2 skins like most characters get, plus an emote (dance), and a few other things. You can then use her character in any mode of the game (Battle Royale, Festival, etc) Will there be a Gaga concert in Fortnite? No, not soon anyway. Big concerts like the one Eminem got only happen at the end of Chapters (Chapters are composed of multiple seasons, and we just started a new chapter). This Chapter will probably end around December 2024/Jan 2025. Will there be new Gaga music with this? It's difficult to say. I personally don't think any new music will come from this Fortnite collaboration directly; however, I believe Gaga will use Fortnite as an advantage to promote LG7. Millions of gamers who've never given Gaga's music a chance will now be looking at her, and millions of Gaga fans who've never played Fortnite will be downloading this game for the first time. This brand deal will be mutually beneficial for both Epic Games and Gaga, and I don't think she will pass on the opportunity to promote new music with this happening. So no, Fortnite probably wont have new Gaga music since this project is 4 years old, but she will probably release new music within the coming weeks (if not this Friday)

I think she wrote "Plastic Doll" about you ngl. It was unfortunate what happened to Chromatica rollout, but stop blaming her for it. How about be proud of Gaga for using her platform during that time to help others during the pandemic and blm. And I don't follow her makeup either, but she's allowed to other interests outside of "pop music".

Consider this is Gaga’s 3rd film in a lead role. Joaquin has done considerable more and is a seasoned actor with awards and tangible box office receipts over a much lengthier period of time to back it up. He was also in the first film and it is his character in the name of the film. The first film was a billion dollar grossing film resting almost entirely on his performance, so it is hard to tell how well the sequel will perform in comparison. All things considered she is being paid fairly well given her experience in acting.

Listen, Fortnite players aren't going to be like "ughhh this is from her LAST era. She's SO late" all they will see is just another Gaga look. They don't know wtf Chromatica aesthetic looks like or what her latest album is or anything. And the fans who do know can just be excited to get something interesting from Gaga. It's just getting attention back on her, which also clearly means something is happening...
