  1. It's a house bop and I am indeed bopping!

  2. I'm glad it got a shot at life with Kylie. Giving a song to Rita seems like the equivalent of leaving your baby in a dumpster.

  5. Such a long intro for a song in 2024 but loving the house inspired beats! I do wish the chorus had a bit more of a hook though. And for some reason the gp doesn’t love house music so I don’t see it being as big as her past lead singles…

  6. I was thinking something more along the lines of "Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, **** on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it". I think it has a really good ring to it and isn't too much of a mouthful.

  7. He ate. Love the fact young gays are seeing men like him express their femininity in such a fierce way. He's so so important right now.

  11. Not what I expected at all! I think it's a grower but it's refreshing to hear a sound distant from trap, and the Vogue sample is not too in your face. Excited to see the visuals.

  13. lol the conspiracy theorists will be like, "of COURSE they deny it -- bc it's true" but then not apply that same logic to Donald Trump's denial of all his wrongdoings lollol i didnt even know this was a conspiracy tho

  17. An Alternative Guide to Manila by Its Unofficial Queen, Manila Luzon As far as drag legends go, they don’t get much bigger or more iconic than Manila Luzon. Born in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, to a Filipina mother and an American father, Luzon has competed on three seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, toured the world, appeared in countless TV shows and recorded more music videos than Taylor Swift has had bad breakups. Now, she is going it alone, starring as the Drag Lord of Drag Den, a new drag competition, made “by Filipinos, for Filipinos”—the first season of which was nominated for two Asian Academy Creative Awards (with Manila Luzon taking home the trophy in her category as Best Entertainment Host) while the second is set to premiere globally on Amazon Prime next week. 18. The thing with House music instrumentals is you have to just go classic or what's the point? The vogue sample and instrumental overall are just SO well produced. And her vocals are so sexy.

  21. I'm so happy to be finally back on this cult site, and suddenly there are a lot of rumours about LG7, which means it's release is clearly imminent, and for some reason I feel like this is going to be the best era since Born This Way. Also if the lead is planned for February and the album on Easter, if I remember correctly, this was the original release schedule for Chromatica which was cancelled so LG7 maybe will have this exact schedule, with the Fortnite concert, Coachella and all these cancelled promo.

  24. Kylie Minogue's huge hit Padam Padam was originally turned down by Rita Ora. It turns out Padam Padam only came to Kylie after it was turned down by other singers at the Aussie hitmaker’s label BMG, including Fashion Icon Rita Ora. Producer Lost Boy explained: “We wrote Padam in February 2022 and there were maybe four or five months of us sitting on it, then I sent it to their label and someone suggested to me, ‘Kylie would kill this’.” But Lost Boy added: “They were unsure and there was a moment when Rita was going to cut it and it was worming around a few artists on that label. “They were trying to make it work but they didn’t think it was for Kylie.” source

  32. It blows my mind how so many fans dislike Chromatica It's such a well-balanced album, with no fillers and a great flow from the beginning to the end. Also, it brought back house/pop dance (Renaissance took it and run, but would we have Renaissance without Chromatica before?) setting a trend that persists until today (yes, and?). It's literally my second favorite album from Gaga after BTW and I feel so lonely in this fanbase
