tokyodisko 0
This is the Top 100 sweetie. Not the Top 10. Not sure what you're asking from her. And it's not the fact that she gave Versace a sales boost, it's the fact that Versace asked her to be the face of its brand while her contemporaries are the face of Pop Chips etc. And no one cares about Koons? Many people in the art world do. Not everyone lives in a forum or listening to a radio station. And what pity? A lot of other celebrities have been offered huge, designer campaigns before though. It's nothing that crazy. She did boost their sales, but this is Time magazine and not Vogue. Is that fact that she boosted the bank accounts of the already unfathomably wealthy really all that remarkable? Koons is well known, but in the grand scheme, he is just an artist to most people. Hardly anyone knows who he is outside of pop culture die hards and the art community. Gaga has been on that list before because she was a huge activist and done large things with her career, and this past year has been less active. She didn't really do that much. There are many other people who deserve to be on that list aside from her. Next year I can definitely see her being in the top 20 at least, because of the space performance, but this past year has definitely been lacking in comparison. Sugarfall 3,723
Funny how all I do is complain when most of my threads have been relatively positive. Sorry to challenge your delicate opinions with the ones that contain criticism. lol It's not complaining. I just think there have to be 100 more people who actually made a difference and had impact this year. Not just to some desperate kids on a message board. It's not like I think KP should be on the list either. I can't think of any pop singers that should tbh- maybe Beyonce and Miley, because of their amount of impact and headlines. For example, someone who has been a huge step forward for social issues like Laverne Cox deserves a spot on that list for the past year, but people would rather have Gaga there, because she can sell out her tour and stand up to her manager? Have fun with that bubble. Note how this isnt overall voting, it is biggest MUSICIANS
tokyodisko 0
Note how this isnt overall voting, it is biggest MUSICIANS lol ooooooh. Hmm. That I did not see. The only female pop singers that I can see having much impact this year are Miley and Beyoncé. Everyone else kind of disappeared in their perfect storms. Hmm. Lorde will probably land the list as well. To be fair though this is still going towards the 100.

Truth 90
Meh. Her achievements these days are very humble. If we're talking about this/last year of course. I'm kind of too tired to read it right now. mte

Neal 768
Idk why Beyoncé's tag had: "It's Beyoncé. 'Nuff said." Like TIME pls, even you're junping on the Beyoncé bandwagon? She released an album this year that was a very good and artistic way of putting it out; other than that... Miley's definitely landing that list. Even though I want Gaga to be on it, it's a tough bet. Still voted though!
ashamednudist 164
I can't see why any of them are included.. like what Kendrick Lemar did that big, or gaga or any mainstream musician.. And i can't stand that ''It's Beyoncé. 'Nuff said'' . What she did ????

Bloody hooker 6,445
OMG is this really fan voted now? Ofc she should. Her Versace campaign made millions, her tour is selling out stadiums around the world, she has Platinum singles and a WW almost 2X Platinum album, she has the ability to work with people like Jeff Koons/Marina, Hearst Castle gave her the rare opportunity to film there, she still has lots of POWER This post tells no lies :tea: This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare. MonsterMum 2,532
But Versace isn't all that impressive either. I mean, it's great, but most brands with a celebrity campaign have sales boost. Plus aside from Versace and Gaga fans, no one cares about that at all. Same with Koons, etc. She just had a rough year. She shouldn't be put in the Time 100 out of pity. I'm sure she'll get in again on her actual merits like she has before. Nobody cares about Koons? What kind of blasphemy is that
