I just saw a thread "More era killing single Dark Horse or We Found Love" on ATRL .. That's such a legend .. Why didn't Just Dance kill the 2nd single and Poker Face became even bigger smash ? Why didn't Poker Face kill Lovegame and Paparazzi ? Why didn't Bad Romance kill Telephone and Alejandro ? Bad Romance, Poker Face and JD are bigger than both DH and WFL ... People say that DH killed the other singles, but without DH do you really believe Unconditionally would've been a big hit ? or Birthday ? Or This is how we do ? These songs are BAD, generic and uninspired that's the reason they are flopping. If Katy had something fresh like DH she'd been having a 3rd smash this era just like how Gaga had several smashes per era (and Katy too with TD) Same goes to You da one ... Sometimes they do tho. Like when Radio is still playing alot and it doesn't give spins to the other song. but in Katy's Unconditionally was released before so yeah I don't see how DH killed it.. And it helped Birthday to gain its losing spins when it was finally lowering on radio. Unconditionally got over 80M AI or 90 AI thats alot.
