That song is one of the best pop tracks of the past 10 years. i was actually hyped by these tbh. she looked like she was a different person, and then the video happened. i thought it would be more darker since she was burning her wig, at her own funeral, and so on. turns out everything this era has been childish and comedic i loved her gammy performance of dark horse though, wish the video would have been like that! At that time, I honestly thought we'd be finally getting Katy's very own Alejandro-like video. But as you've said, it turned out to be the complete opposite. Her image is getting more and more Disney with a bit of being naughty. Luckily it worked for her twice, once because of the tits and once because of the controversy, but didn't work the 3rd time. She/her team are really not trying to deliver good music videos anymore.
