Pure Adrenaline 1,518
lol true, but MTN was the only flop of the BTW era, despite what some may say the era was a huge success and Gaga was still the biggest pop star in the world back then, so she clearly didn't feel much pressure with her next album. This time, the entire era has gone badly, it's been one long wake-up call. She's absolutely going to step it up for the next one if she wants to stick around It's much more fun to have hizophrenia... u never get lonely

Mariano 958
Since you ignored the question if you were banned from ATRL I'll take that as a yes. Anyhow this nonsense needs to stop. She won't go back in time, just like any other she's a human that matures, changes opions, evolves. Music has changed, the market has changed, it's not fair to try to pin her down to TFM (because it was great to be able to say Gaga slays your fave right?) era cause nothing is the same. Who knows, these days Pokerface might not even be a hit. If anything that we can say that she took a gamble and lost was putting 2012 edm sounds on an album. Anyway, she's happy with how ARTPOP turned out and that's fine. You can stan for Gaga as a person not just her chart run, try it one day. + I am sure that if Gaga tried to go back to TFM routes she would flop She should try something new.. JUst because ARTPOP underperformed (even tho it's not that fresh/new) she shouldn't stop making something new..
Piano 0
and u feel like buying the album is enough? k Looking at the album sales, it's more than what most people did.
Bye 3,947
People said the same thing last era. And don't forget all the "I'm gonna be snatching weaves and naval rings next year!!!!" and "Carly Rae, I'm coming for your record!!!!!" statements Gaga made. She clearly thought ARTPOP was going to slay. Someone outside of her camp needs to intervene. Love her but she has clearly lost it. On-topic: woohoo G.U.Y. is still in the top 600 on iTunes! Slay Queen! Because ARTPOP is much more commercial than BTW I don't blame her for thinking she would snatch weaves. The music was good enough to smash. Slay Queen! Yes but I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt cause we know what an awful year she had leading up to ARTPOP's release, I think that messiness combined with her delusions that she could still put anything out and it would automatically smash led to this album. I'm willing to believe that with her new management, and with her being in a better place and having gone through a down-era, she'll have the drive and inspiration she needs to come back with something amazing

She said she was absolutely not sure that radio and the GP would be ready for ARTPOP music ! She knew ARTPOP was a risk to take... ++ If you're a Gaga hater, your place is not here. We don't need one more troll on this forum.

On-topic: It's been a few weeks since the music video came out and G.U.Y. is still inside the top 1000 on iTunes. The real female MJ!

FGGrayson 9,670
No. Besides Paparazzi and You & I, all of her other tracks are electropop. Considering most of the world hasn't even heard You & I, Paparazzi remains her only somewhat slower song that is a hit. She needs a hit ballad or something funky for her next single. But Gaga is horrible with incorporating past genres into her work (see: Born This Way) so I'd go with the hit ballad instead of funk. Something a la Halo / Bleeding Love. Wtf did i just.... enough, just hush honey, please 𝗟𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗴𝗮 • 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗲 • 𝗦𝗼𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗲-𝗘𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗼𝗿 • 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀𝗼𝗻
