Gaga herself claims that she doesn't like to live in the lap of luxury and that she prefers to live in small apartments like the one she lived in when she was struggling to make it on her own. The only thing people are pointing out is that her very own claim seems to be falsified when we see that she lives in such a glamorous and prestigious apartment that even has a lineage of celebrity inhabitants (Liza Minnelli + Tony Bennett). It would be a different story if she didn't say that herself, but she talks down her residence in every single interview where it comes up and consistently claims that she prefers small danky apartments as opposed to large glamorous ones because the small snaky apartments help her keep an appropriate mind set and help her create more efficiently. ​Does that look like a small danky apartment to you? I don't think so. It's not even a big deal either; I don't think people really care that much if she blurs the lines between small and danky and large and glamorous - people are just joking because she says one thing but demonstrates another. It's really no reason to get butthurt and lash out saying that we're all "taking every opportunity to call her out on something." Just because she lived in a shack apartment for 20 years doesn't mean she needs to forever. She's a millionaire now, so her words from 3 years ago may no longer apply. Get over it. Sorry not sorry. Ripping on her over something so ridiculous is embarrassing. There is nothing wrong or shameful about spending money and living a luxurios life. She earned it.gaga is constantly trying to prove that she isnt in it for the money. It doesnt mean you are in it for the money if you enjoy the benefits of being rich. Its just like a side effect of being successful. It kinds of bothers me that she feels like she needs to lie about her spending habits to prove that she isnt in it for the money. Or maybe her perception of a small apartment is off.
