But, for example in Spain it went gold (20k) in a few weeks, way before 2014. It is impossible that she hasn't sold any album since then (obvioisly lol). And that happens to a lot of countries. It's impossible... So, please, stop saying incoherent infos. :( 2,3M are obviously shipped and IFPI used this number because it has been sold to retailers. And Interscope use the shipped number for years. Charts experts will say to you that it's shipments, trust me. and Here are ARTPOP sales that we know : US : 688k [Gold] U K : ~193k [Gold] Japan : ~190k [Platinum (Shipments over 250,000)] Canada : ~83k [Platinum] Mexico : 60k [Platinum] France : ~63k [Platinum (Shipments over 100,000)] Brazil : 64k [Platinum] Italy : 25k [Gold] Argentina : 20k [Gold] Spain : 20k [Gold] Sweden : 20k [Gold] Switzerland : 15k [Gold] Austria : 10k [Gold] Finland : 10k [Gold] Poland : 10k [Gold] Colombia : 5k [Gold] South Korea : ~4k Hungary : 1k [Gold] TOTAL : ~1,5M copies It's impossible for her to sell 800k outside of that markets, because the biggest markets are counted in the 1,5M. SNEP announced a platinium certification for ARTPOP (100,000 copies) without saying that it's shipments, while Gaga sold 63k real copies there, because we know the sales for each week.
