PokerFace, Applause and Bad Romance are not very expensive videos but they are not cheap like Just Dance and TEOG for example. All of these videos are cheap. Bad Romance is one of the cheapest. It uses ONE ROOM. A few different PROPS and Gaga's dancers + a few "actors" It is just as cheap as Just Dance (better by far tho). Lovegame is not as cheap as Bad Romance obviously. They use better locations etc.. which cost money. They use more dancers as well ... (But of course after Just Dance and Poker Face smashes they will give her bigger budget for the next video) .. Paparazzi is the most expensive from the Fame era. TEOG is Gaga's cheapest video as she doesn't use big crew etc.. MTN is really expensive even tho it's not that good.. Maybe it wasn't the official listening party either. Maybe they wanted to preview the album which is complete. I think that the main reason of this all was to celebrate the creation of the album. Also I think that Bad Romance was more expensive than Just Dance because they needed to built the stage and it also had the fire effects etc while JD had only people dancing in a house. I suspect that the fired director cost money, the set up that was build and not use the same. Love game is on the cheap side. And I already explained in my opinion most videos are cheap because the labels wouldn't spend much money unless it's like Gaga's / Katy's case (huge success). Bad Romance is just 1 room with a few effects... It's like saying that Wrecking Ball is expensive .. I wouldnt say that WB is expensive, but I wouldnt say that it is cheap. Terry Richardson name costed money. And that set up also. Its on another level than Just dance. A photo shot by Gaga or Miley would definetelly cost more than Just dance video. The video has no longevity imo and can't stand the test of time. The ARTPOP part is flawless and the Venus one even if it has its mistakes works very well and it has the Gaga weirdness and but the GUY part is too "nice" imo. Gaga is so appealing and perfect to it that it loses its interest imo. A lot of fans have asked for a very beautiful and stunning Gaga for once for a whole video and I was very amazed myself in the beginning because she was flawless. But Gaga is not famous for being a beautiful pop star and that appealing to the eye video aged very soon, at least for me, because it doesn't have the Gaga weirdness and uniqueness that makes Gaga's videos different from anyone else's and make you wanna watch them again and again. When you play only the GUY part and not the whole movie you can see that the whole video is a perfect eye candy with a very few more things to give. Indeed I find GUY one of the least good songs on the album but either way I was talking about the video not the song.
