If she was irrelevant, her every little move wouldn't be commented on by hundreds of people. So, no. :ohwell:

When Gaga was on top ALL the time fans revelled in being stans of the 'Queen'. Well, she is still pop royalty but she is no longer queen of the charts or of sales or even of gossip media.

And the same thing will happen to all pop divas.

I think what makes it harder for Gaga's fans is the fact that the general public don't seem to care very much about Gaga. But that is because she is not endearing to the GP, never has been. She's not a girl next door persona. She's not a big bouncy girlwoman like KP. She's not a Disney star twerking her way into adulthood. She's not ordinary like Adele. She has built an image or brand that identifies her as outsider, outrageous and theatrical. People can't warm to that image.

So now, when her reign as queen of all she surveyed (in pop culture) is over, it is hard for fans, and maybe hard for Gaga herself, to feel the indifference, doubt, mocking, and even gloating with regard to her changed status.

No wonder Gaga says she doesn't need fame because she has her loyal fans! The past months have been extremely hurtful!

But she has the respect of many of her peers. She is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. And she has made an indelible mark on the pop culture of today.

Gaga has everything she needs to lead a good life and have an outstanding career. She's talented, wealthy and good looking. She has a supportive family, a great boyfriend, and never has to worry about bills or losing her job or not having a place to live.

Life is sweet for her and I bet she is thankful for it and that is why she is so motivated to give everything she can give to us her fans.

Honestly, why waste your energy thinking about and asking these kinds of questions? It's just such a waste of energy.

You are right! But she held the reigns for a LONG TIME. Most pop divas aren't at the top for that long. Most modern pop divas are at the top for like a few years. Who knows maybe she will release a killer album and rise to the top again for a little bit.

The GUY video tells us everything we need to know about where she is in her career now, and where she wants to be.

"Over" is such an exaggerated word against Gaga. If she's over, her latest music video should have not reached 1 million views right now. Has she failed, commercial-wise? Unfortunately, yes. The chart performance and its sales have shown it (and still showing up to this day). But only an imbecile would think that any artist would be always on top. History has shown time and time again how the entertainment business works.

I think she will do exactly that! Release a killer album that is critically received beyond her dreams and beyond ours. As she approaches her 30s her views on fame, music, art, love - everything - will change, soften, become beautiful in an unadorned way.

Just my rambling view! lol

Chart wise she failed compared to her past successes. Though compared to her peers she isn't doing THAT bad.

Any album that's struggling to hit 1M in the US, especially for a supposed album act, is bad in general, at least for me. In addition to that, a single performed thrice in three of the biggest platforms to move record sales and still couldn't get a higher peak than its debut doesn't help either. Is she over? No, as I've said. Is she doing rather bad, chart-wise? Yes. Not only under her standards, but also in general for a Mainstream Top 40 act.
