Voltaic 25 Posted March 24, 2014 Share Posted March 24, 2014 Everything you said is part of our pop culture, she put pop culture in this artistic Hearst Castle (RHWOBH, Jesus, Michael Jackson, Minecraft, etc.) and created ARTPOP. But yeah there was a bit of randomness, I did not like the clonning set. Because she used something epic as the castle and then just a fake set. I agree that the house wives over-acted the whole thing, but overall I think it's one of her best videos, and no, this is not the novelty effect talking. The concepts towards the end have potential. There a lot of bad parts too. Mainly the execution, IMO. But if Gaga feels the need to direct her own videos, then I'm fine with that. Basically. Judas and Bad Romance were my favorites, but now G.U.Y is. Am I sucking Gagas dick? I love Gaga and always supports everything she does, and I understood the GUY video' storyline and all but something isn't satisfying. It seems like she used a lot of random cuts and scenes, instead of scenes with substance. The Venus bit was so anticlimactic, those house wives ruined it, that fold pool scene was unnecessary, Jesus and Michael didnt even look like them. Whole thing felt so homemade Keep watching again.
