RAMROD 109,680
Not sure. I am not her nor know her personally. She can smile but feel depressed inside. She can pout but feel joy inside. But she can also smile and actually feel happy inside. (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧*:・゚ dancin' until i'm dead (*´艸`*) ♡♡♡
HeavyMetalLuvah 0
It's the ONE thing that captivates/inspires/confuses/ love the most about her. I'm mainly a fan just because she is such an interesting enigma of a creative.
heavyMetalGAGA 65
She's trying to find her musical direction. With btw people felt that she took a wrong turn and again with ARTPOP. The problem is, she tries so hard to push boundaries that she rarely performs within the walls of her talent. She thinks too much about what's next and has failed to live in any moment. Tbh she needs to reevaluate what made her the superstar. Be lady Gaga, not some Madonna/Britney hybrid. Lady Gaga was a rock star in a pop world. Freddie Mercury at a disco. What's lady gaga these days? Freddie circa 1992. I love her the most when she lets her rock roots shine. I just hope with the future tour, performances, and the possibility of ACT II, she can get on the right track again. Although BTW was the closest thing we ever got to her being a rock star, I don't think it was a wrong turn for her at all. However, I do believe she needs to find something other than this EDM trend that she attempted with ARTPOP. It wasn't bad at all, but it wasn't spectacular, either. She really needs to find what works for her with this next record without thinking too much about the future.
Ladle Ghoulash 25,116
I just think she's trying to be more free thinking and not be bound by expectations of her, whether internally or externally imposed. She wants to be free, that's all. We have forgotten our public MANNERS
tristessa 0
I wouldn't say that, necessarily. I think it was at the Jingle Ball she said something about how everyone always wants to know who she really is beneath the wigs and makeup, etc. and she said there was nothing to find, that she is exactly what she presents herself as. Maybe she's having more of a problem with how she thinks people perceive her and not necessarily how she perceives herself, though that does seem unlike her. Who knows though. lavenderblondee 3,695
Not sure. I think she's shaken up cause for the first time she's not on top. I think she always thought she was an underdog, but knew she was on top. Now, she isn't. Also, not having a steady team is ****ty.
Donatello 129
I get the sense she's desperately clinging to the person she once was before 'Lady Gaga', since she brought her new york gang on stage last night for an (awkward) improvised routine. Polished theatrics and rehearsealrehearsalrehearsal are truly dead and buried. But what do you do after fighting for your dream of being #1 popstar on the planet? Or any lifelong mission in general? You "wander", a standout word from her Gypsy speech imo. Why aren't other popstars in this position? Because it was never a personal battle for them since day 1, they didn't "want to be a star" (MTN). E.g. Rihanna was originally from a group and she was just 'spotted'. LittleBoot 27
I voted "don't know" -- if she is, I don't think it's actually anything new and has been going on for some time now.

I think she always thought she was an underdog, but knew she was on top. Now, she isn't. Also, not having a steady team is ****ty. This really. I think she is scrambling through so many "identities" in the past year and a half to try and figure out what will get her back there. I have never thought of Gaga as an underdog to be honest. She's conventionally pretty in the right make up, she can sing, and she is talented. I think now it is catching up to her and she is actually the underdog this era and doesn't quite know how to handle it. I just hope she remains healthy and can find the balance again. Psychedelic 1,098
i feel like right now she's struggling on whether to appeal to the masses or to make more experiemental music/art. THIS!
