We should appreciate it, for it got Gaga to stardom and to TFM.

you can appreciate its significance in her career without liking the music that much

I really like that album, but it just doesn't compare to her others for me.

I appreciate that it launched her though.

Weasel

Probably because lots of people didn't even know about her when it came out and started becoming fans with the follow up.

Its a great album but the quality of music compared to the rest is no match. The Fame served as a more pop/"generic" record to help jump start her career.

Slayer

It just doesn't feel like the real Gaga to me. The singles do, but many of the others don't. Like Starstruck? Wtf...

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

Because you can appreciate she was scared of showing her real talent and her record didn't let her express herself. I do like it made her be the woman she's now but it's not a great album.

Because the majority of the fans here are too young to relate to when it came out/or become fans a lot later on  by that point the music had changed direction and moved on with TFM, it was kinda whirlwind, but the Fame was made ages before.
