Chappell Roan has apologised to Jude Law's daughter as she insisted she did not ask any security guard to approach her - hours after her team were accused of leaving the young fan in tears.

Chappell Roan accused of sending security guard to Jude Law's 11-year-old daughter

Football player, Jorginho,  posted a text on social media criticizing Chappell Roan and her team for the treatment given to his 11-year-old stepdaughter (who is Jude Law's daughter) at a hotel in São Paulo.

According to the athlete, his 11-year-old daughter and his wife, Catherine Harding, are staying at the same hotel as the pop star and, upon meeting her in the hotel restaurant, "like any child, she recognized her and was thrilled."

Jorginho says that the girl passed by the singer's table, but did not approach the singer. At that moment, a security guard allegedly approached her in an "extremely aggressive" manner, demanding more respect for the singer.

"Honestly, I don't know at what point walking past a table and looking to see if it's someone is considered harassment [...]. It's sad to see this kind of treatment coming from those who should understand the weight that fans have. Without your fans you would be nobody," Jorginho wrote.

She seems to not handle the "public figure" part of fame well at all which is upsetting. But people are stupid and always going to test boundaries if you are a celeb, so I feel conflicted by her ongoing requests to never be approached, spoken to, etc.

I have been getting a ton of anti-Chappell content on my feed and honestly…I can see why. I get that in principle no one should have to deal with the constant attention fame brings, and rarely will musicians work towards fame for attention but rather sustainability. BUT, living a private life as a celebrity is not impossible and there’s an infinite list of much bigger stars than her that can move around discreetly and we never find out. At this point she’s choosing to not take those precautions
