Aciid 0
it didnt? i thought it did well regardless of chart number i mean its large popularity and everyone being on board with it whereas gaga coming out with born this way, a more straight forward (no pun intended) song to release as a single imo, took all the backlash 2 years prior. Yep peaked outside of the top 10 and had major promo spots. But your point is still somewhat valid even though when Born This Way came out everyone had already beat her to the punch with the empowerment anthems. IvanMonster 0
I know you said not to say ARTPOP but its truly the album that made me become a fan I hated Lady Gaga up until this album. my friend played it for me about two months ago and it was badass. Miel 15,009
I think the first three (TF/M and BTW) each actually had a good chunk of influence. How long lasting and impacting for each, I'm not exactly sure. All three have definitely made some sort of impact. 3 points in and ready for more

Quark 7,089
True. However, Gaga had already talked about self acceptance and the Born This Record itself way before all of these songs were released. I have a feeling that Gaga's activisim and her constant mentioning of her record Born This Way, inspired these artists to make this type of records. Yep peaked outside of the top 10 and had major promo spots. But your point is still somewhat valid even though when Born This Way came out everyone had already beat her to the punch with the empowerment anthems. JbGaga 2,261
I think The Fame Influenced Pop Culture more then the others. BTW has a very influential message also but I don't think the GP got it/ Wanted it at that point. So The Fame
disneyhigh 43
Musically: The Fame because it helped electropop become extremely popular. Stylistically: The Fame and The Fame Monster both made the other pop girls make more extravagant music videos and started the dress crazy trend mhmm and Born This Way because lets all not forget how self acceptance became a trend after she announced the title at the VMA's. Anyone who says BTW shhh let us be delusional

Pop Art 1,773
The Fame and The Fame Monster influenced musical trends during their times, and Born This Way influenced social issues and attitudes towards them in its time. It's too early to tell what ARTPOP will influence, but as someone mentioned earlier, I hope it introduces high art into mainstream music.
