She had a very cool and appealing singing style back then. The perfect pop voice. This. All this is true. But I really am not here for fanbases comparing artists (although it's inevitable and will always happen) and comparing their stats and extraneous factors away from their music such as writing/dancing etc. Katy's music is HUGE and brings joy to people. She's earned the following of millions of people by entertaining them. She's very different to Gaga. No-one's replaced anyone. Pitch 204 Posted February 20, 2014 Share Posted February 20, 2014 For her next era gaga NEEDS to reinvent herself she cant keep coming back with the same dance music with weird outfits, she needs a new style and new music, the GP are sick to death of her atm, look at Madonna who has lasted 30 years in the business and is still getting top tens, every time the GP got bored of her she came back with a new look and sound, it confuses the GP into thinking its something new when really its the same food just in a different packaging. ARTPOP's great but honestly its nothing new and its missing something compared to her previous efforts, gaga needs to go out and find a new collaborator because DJWS + Gaga just dont create the magic that Redone + Gaga could, imo gaga should forget about ARTPOP act 2, release the safest songs to get the most out of the album and next year return with something COMPLETELY different, get the GP interested in her again.
