hausofsarahj 0
Just got home from my ARTPOP Zone experience tonight in Birmingham. Absolutely unreal. My only complaint (and I am in no way disappointed) is that the photos are literally in, take photo, out. The security were absolute arseholes to me aswell, basically kicking me out the room, but Gaga more than made up for it as she is the most wonderful human being. The view from the ARTPOP Zone alone is worth the £850 in my opinion, you can see her clearly everywhere she is and this is coming from a 4ft11 shortarse. I'll write a more detailed account tomorrow. OpusDiaboli666 199
Do you still get to hug her or is that forbidden now too? Idiots..why did they kick you out? So you also don't get to say anything about how you want the pic and just go with the pose she's doing? Glad you still had an amazing time, I was thinking the same tjinhabout the tickets alone being worth that money
hausofsarahj 0
I can't sleep so I might aswell write it now haha. When we arrived at the arena, we pretty much went straight into the actual arena and into the ARTPOP Zone. It is raised slightly so you'll have no trouble seeing over the heads of the general standing and have a perfect view of Gaga even when she's on the main stage. You do have to pay cash (no cards) at the bar in the ARTPOP Zone itself. The zone is spacious and the seats are comfortable. The artRave itself is fantastic, I won't go into much detail about it for people who haven't seen it yet, but the interaction with Gaga throughout is unbelieveable. She really sees you and locks eyes with you as she sings, particularly when at the piano (which you'll want to stand a bit back for) but you can follow her around the stage in the ARTPOP Zone and see her clearly wherever she is. I've never been that close to Gaga before, so for me the seating arrangements were fantastic. After the show, we waited roughly five minutes in the zone before our hosts took us into the meet and greet room. Here you basically sit and wait for Gaga to shower and rest before she comes in to have the group chat. There was another bar which was free this time, and a chance to use the toilet. Also during this time, we were told to put all presents and letters we had for her on a table, and to completely switch all electronic devices off. Just over an hour and a half later, Gaga walks in and sits in the middle of the room. The chat is very free, anybody can chime in at any time with either a question or something to say. When I spoke to Gaga (I told her about a tattoo I got for her when she broke her hip) she listens intently and looks you dead in the eye like it's just you and her in the room. The love she has for her fans is clear whenever she speaks. No topic is off limits and she is very honest with her answers. Anything you want to say to her, I suggest saying it during this time. After about an hour and five minutes, Gaga announced that it was picture time, and we were all taken back out of the room and into a hallway where we had to leave our belongings. You cannot physically have anything on you when you go in for your photo. We went into the room in groups of threes, and it is literally take the photo and leave. I was third in line out of the twenty, and the two people before me each got out one sentence to Gaga and then were shown the door, there was no time for hugs. When it was my turn, I went in, took my photo (you have no time to even think about poses, I can't even remember what me and Gaga are doing in my photo) and quickly said 'Gaga will you sign my tattoo please?' and she looked me in the eye and said 'I am so sorry, I can't, there's not enough time...' And the security man said 'You were told not to ask for autographs!' And I reached into my back pocket where I'd hidden a pen and I said 'I have the pen already?' And security were trying to push me out the door, and Gaga took one look into my eyes and grabbed my arm so that security couldn't push me out, and then took my pen and signed it for me. She said 'Your tattoo is beautiful, thank you' and that was it, I couldn't even thank her before security had pushed me outside with a 'Get out!' I understand that we were told not to ask for autographs, but beware that security will not take it well when you do ask. Gaga was an absolute diamond about it as I knew she would be, but it is definitely a risk. And then that was it, we got our bags back and off we went. The ARTPOP Zone is definitely worth the money, 100%. You feel as though you are in the presence of a friend rather than a superstar, and Gaga is every bit as amazing as you'd expect her to be. The only downside is the lack of personal time with Gaga, and how you're treated like cattle at the photo opportunity. I would say that if you're quick, you can fit in one sentence to her after your photo.
MANiCURE 60
are the tour books still signed?
OpusDiaboli666 199
Haha so Gaga signed it even though she herself said before she wouldn't..she's so awesome.. The best thing probably is to get in your sentence or hug before the pic when they can't push you out just yet.
hausofsarahj 0
The tour books do still come signed, you get them before Gaga comes in for the group chat. I would say that they may not allow you to get a sentence in before the picture. Maybe a hug, but they really just want you in and out. I am extremely grateful that she signed my arm. She had to fight her own security to grab my arm and actually do it. She doesn't want to disappoint any fan because she loves us that much.

OpusDiaboli666 199
Thanks, but right now for me it's more a question of it actually happening because this organization where I bought the tickets from still hasn't given me any infos. I think meeting her might have actually been to good to be true. I just hope it all works out but I'm loosing hope
hausofsarahj 0
Don't lose faith, it will work out. We didn't hear any information from VIP Nation until the week before, so maybe the organisation are waiting to hear the info from them and then will pass it on to you?
