Thanks to an alert from another GGD member, I've just seen the email sent in regards to ARTPOP Zone.  The sender is SLO Customer Service.  My e-mail was in my spam folder so keep an eye out if your show is close.  My show is next week May 6.

It gives very detailed info on where check in is.  Check in is from 6-8pm and says no late admittance.

Also it has:

Please note:  Lady Gaga will not be signing autographs during the meet & greet.  One photo per person will be taken by the onsite photographer; no personal cameras of any kind are allowed.  Make it a night to remember at Lady Gaga’s artRave – The ARTPOP Ball!!!

That sounds like the email I got when I went to a Ke$ha meet and greet :( It was only 3 seconds. Picture and than go. I hope it's not like that for this one :(

That's how the majority of Meet and Greets are, especially for the bigger names. You line up, get a picture...maybe say a sentence or two, and move on.

If Gaga ends up giving fans more time than that at Meet and Greets, she will be a rarity in the music business.

I got a couple mins with Ke$ha. Like i said, it depends on the person. You should've started a conversation.

Why are y'all expecting to get 5+ mins with Gaga and just like stare at eachother. You have to make that happen.

No autographs? That REALLY blows. I'm in Houston and she only comes here during her tours, so it's not like I'll ever get her signature; this was my only hope

The photo quality better be phenomenal then!

Honestly she's so cool in person, I'm sure you can get a signature. If you ask her, she'll do it hands down. I found that when I was backstage at the BTWB...her security told us a bunch of **** we weren't supposed to do and that she would only sign one thing, etc etc, but once you're with her it kind of goes out the window cause you're just like...chatting. She was even offering to sign more than one thing for people. Idk, don't sweat it too much :).

That's terrible about no autographs. Screw that, if I paid the money, I'm asking for her signature. She won't say no (because she just wouldnt) but the fact they even put that in the email is wrong.

I am sure we will get autographs - it is the same thing with the "rule" that you are not allowed to take pictures at a concert

or the 8 a.m rule at the BTWB

Yeah I know it's not the same thing exactly but I used to work in a book shop and everytime we did book signings with famous authors / celebrities there would be about a million rules come through from their management like they will only sign their current book, they will only sign x page, they won't do dedications etc but in practice almost every person would actually do whatever the fans wanted. I think it's just to protect themselves incase anyone is really over zealous and demands they sign a tonne of stuff or so that if the artist is ill or something they can ramp it back without legal issues..

When I contacted livenation about the whole autograph thing they said that although it wasn't included in the package, it would depend on the night. So, if everyone is reasonable (ie not saying 'can you sign this for me, this for my friend, this for my other friend' etc) it should be fine. Just make sure to be nice to the management staff and not demand it but politely request it and I can't see Gaga saying no :)
