VampireGrin 85
I think Poker face was more sonically impacting. BR was more visually impacting
2007 5,291
Poker face by far BR didn't even reach #
Givewaytopeds 25
I'd go with Poker Face, if you asked the GP they're most memorable song, it'd be PF, it's the only old song I hear on the radio consistantly. I think BR, took her to another level though, I was blown away by this weird woman in the newspaper, who sings pop music, coming out with BR. It doesn't sound ground breaking anymore, but was at the time.

GagaMyBlood95 9,915
Poker Face... BR had a bigger impact with the video...
Chucky 39
They are both quite amazing and both in the span of one year.... Pokerface shook things up and Bad Romance exploded the ****ing universe.... I'm starting to believe Gaga will never release a song as catchy, goosebump inducing and as off the hook as these two gems here tbh....
StillARockstar 0
I would say "Poker Face". She was a new artist and the song went to No. 1 for weeks and weeks. Everybody knows the song but I can just speak for my country which is Germany. "Poker Face" ruled the charts for months and was her breakthrough over here. "Just Dance" stayed unsuccessful and only climbed the charts after "Poke Face" was released because of the hype around her. "Bad Romance" was huge because of the video and she was taken more seriously as an artist. It was a good bridge between "The Fame" and "Born This Way" records (even if I consider "The Fame Monster" as her best work to date).
VforVendetta 2,024
Can't be compared ... Poker Face had insanely different impact than BR. Poker Face was one of the biggest hits of all time, a complete smash which impacted POP Music with its performances and with its Dance sound.. while Bad Romance is probably the most amazing song ever. It has this Sad vibe to it but at the same time it's DANCE.. So good, but Its impact was because of the Video... 2 different things. Anyway both songs have more impact than any Rihanna, Katy or Kesha songs so .. We can argue about Umbrella, but there is no other song that comes close from these artists. . There is nothing out of this world about Umbrella though, it's jusy an amazing and now also iconic pop song.
Blunt 0
i think both equally she was like a new artist and she had one hit after another . i think she was on top already like just MJ and Madonna were before and its will be very hard to top herself. she already gave out the best **** that we have all seen and that brought her to the top. BUT MARK MY WORDS ONE DAY SHE WILL TOP HERSELF
Mariano 958
There is nothing out of this world about Umbrella though, it's jusy an amazing and now also iconic pop song. Doesn't mean that it didn't have impact. Umbrella was everywhere, literally. I am pretty sure that without Umbrella, there'd be no Rihanna right now.. I am pretty sure that without Umbrella, there'd be no Rihanna right now.. Of course I agree. Umbrella had huge impact. What I wanted to say is that it still remains just a great Pop song, it doesn't have something different, something that stands out. It's not the song that makes the difference. Well yeah that's why it's not on the same level as PF and BR, otherwise It would've been on the same level.

I think that Rihanna's Disturbia is her best song ever and I think that it's a song and a video that gave a lot of things to pop culture. I still can't believe that Rihanna has a song like this. If only she had written and produced it.

From the production with that instrument (similar to the one Gaga used in ARTPOP during the chorus you know .. ) to the vocals and everything ... Disturbia is more basic in my opinion..
