She was massively popular with everyone including GLBT before that. There is a LOT more moneysuccess in being popular with young women than gays. Just ask Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Interscope to pander to specific audiences. When the electropop style didn't work, they switched her to her freaky/avant garde style. When that didn't work, they switched her to the whole LGBT advocate style, etc. etc." She was all of those at once in 2010-11. Get over youselves GLBT, you're not so important or numerous that pandering to you is the way to profit. She has fought for equality, and acted or not, she empowered and helped many people around the world, which is the most important thing. I honestly believe that she's authentic, and I don't see any reasons to doubt about her words. And just to clarify, I'm pretty sure she has exagerated and changed some of her stories to sound more convincing, but that doesn't make her a fraud or anything like that.
