It's New Year's, it would be a great way to start off the year with an announcement. After tonight there really is no "standout" date and it's all up to a random date she picks to say something that we can't exactly predict about. So it's not so much that there's no announcement but that we will be completely in the dark as to when she could say something. At least that's how I see it.
