I mean… maybe not publicly, but I feel like back in 2012 in particular she would’ve absolutely said something like this. Especially when she was chronically online and arguing with people left and right.

When has Gaga ever said she deserved an award that went to another artist? At most she said she would've loved to win Album of the Year (during the Chromatica era) but it felt very gracious because she said she was happy Billie won it too and would do everything she could to make younger artists feel appreciated.

That’s why I said maybe not publicly, she’s VERY controlling of her public image nowadays. But I think you’d be foolish to think there’s not at least once ESPECIALLY when both The Fame Monster and Born This Way lost Album of The Year AND Born This Way won nothing at the GRAMMYs that she; as a voting member of the GRAMMYs, didn’t go home and say to her inner circle she deserved an award over someone. At least once. 

Like I just know behind the scenes she was a bit pissed Mayhem didnt win one of the Big 3 when it was THE album of 2025.

She’s a gracious and good person, but if the 2012 GRAMMYs happened AFTER summer 2012 I know she would’ve said something online when she was high af arguing and shading and dragging people online.
