LittleMonsterJames 0 Posted August 22, 2012 Share Posted August 22, 2012 I don't like the idea of a Coldplay collab, just look at how Princess of China turned out, it's a decent song, but charted awfully I like the idea of an Elton collab, but I really think that it'll have to be a ballad. I just can't imagine his and her voice together on a hit single, it's not that they don't match each other, Elton doesn't sell very well to Gaga's audience. Imagine Elton singing Scheiße as a duet. We all know it's confirmed so we'll have to wait and see...maybe it'll slay. NOBTR is old and although it's a fun song, Gaga can do so much better. The lyrical genius of 2008 Stefani really shows 'I can make you some food. Boy, and then I can make you smile.' I really think that Partynauseous is going to slay well, Born This Way was written in a time when people loved Gaga (post FM) and she really just wanted to write an important message. The Fame Monster (some of her best work) was written through troubles and her fears of fame and life, so maybe Partynaueseous (being such a personal song about Jakarta) will bring out some of the best and most personal work since TFM! I have no idea who that Kendrick guy is, but if Gaga likes him, I'll like him... The Greatest Thing, although an old track, I really feel that Cher and Gaga have made something a lot more electric. Cher is talking about her fascination with electro pop and so is Gaga lately, so I really think this collab will be awesome! They may need to change parts of the original though, it does sound a little bit 'lame' at times. Gaga songs ain't lame, every lyric and beat slays + Cher is awesome. I think the fanbase loves her, despite her age. If Madonna had maybe been nice to Gaga, just like Cher, maybe we would all like her as well? Azealia Banks is the greatest thing to come around in a long while, if they wanna collab, even a Telephone continuation...I'm so there. My body is ready. I would love to see a Beyonce work again though, they love each other so much and seem to be happy together. Britney's singing career is over I believe and Kylie only really appeals to the UK anymore so I'm not really fussed about them... I don't think ARTPOP will be a collab album (it's too early in her career) but would die to hear some collabs on other albums featuring her and add a few of those to special editions! Every artist that has been in the game for years have peaked already. Peaking =/= having no success in the future. Gaga will still have the hits on her next album, but her (like many other artists; Britney, Kelly, Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, Beyonce) will never be looked at the same as they were at their prime. Her success and her goals are larger than ever now with her perfume release and movie coming next year. ARTPOP is going to be more mainstream appealing and still something for her fans to enjoy. It will be a balance between speculating the fame eras and btw. 2013 could very well be her peak if the music is quality, the videos are impressive and edgy, and she stays active in promoting and branch.ing out her brand.
