giskardsb 12,565 Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 (edited) My personal suspicion is that BTW Was terminated after MTN not only because BTW might have been running out of steam, but also because it was going into the heavy dance tracks, and there is a good possibility IMO that the next album is a continuation of that particular direction. They may have decided to hold off and begin a heavy electronic dance era with a new album instead of using the songs off BTW. I'm sure the new album was substantially demo'd at that point and they knew the timeframe for it, and decided that new investment would make more sense for it rather than continuing BTW.
