Same for Born This Way, she had been teasing the name and announced it at the VMAs so there was no chance to even speculate about an LG3 at that time. The Fame Monster came out in November 2009 and the VMAs were around Aug/Sept 2010. Maybe Rihanna made it a popular term at that time because Unapologetic was R7 and she teased the number for that specific album but like someone said, it was also a thing in the 90’s.
