Whispering 18,865
Ariana has OK sales. But with that amount of promo, of "hit singles" and LOTS of radio Al, i think her album should have sold more copies than 600k.I know she isn't really "established" like other pop girls, but she truly was one of the hit girls of 2014.I believe Ariana is established. This isn't her debut album. She has an existing fan base from her kid show, a successful first album that included a Grammy nomination, multiple massive hits this era, good collaborations and big name producers. I would have expected that she would end up selling much more in the U.S., than a newbie like Meghan. Meghan is the one who is doing very well, despite the fact that she isn't an established artist. There is some kind of disconnect with Ariana selling albums in proportion to her singles and popularity.

Mexico and Brazil seem to always have love for our big Divas. Madonna, Gaga, Britney, Katy, Rihanna and others. They support them more than we do here in the states. Paper Gangsta 6,693
Honestly Cheerleader is the worst hit song I ever heard. It's not even catchy so I don't get people being all over that song
jorgeropero 345
is it bad that Pretty Girls has only 209k streams on Spotify?
Creyk 17,196
Cheerleader is not that bad, it's okay. I don't understand why will it suddenly smash out of nowhere though. It was not promoted in any way but suddently it is just going to happen. IDGI As for the Years & Years - King song, the music itself is okay but OMG, the video is tragic
Klou 2,414
Honestly Cheerleader is the worst hit song I ever heard. It's not even catchy so I don't get people being all over that songI was just about to post something similar. It's one of the worst hits of the decade. It's just one of those songs where I have absolutely no clue how people can hear that song and like it UNLESS it's just so bad that it's funny to listen to.
