fair points. Do What U Want was probably the best an era with no video can turn out.

I may be biased because Do What U Want is my favorite Gaga song... It deserved a lot more success in my opinion.

Maroon 5 and Ed Sheeran's  single eras  do the opposite of most artists, they somehow get bigger each time.

Whispering

Kylie, JLo, and Gwen look better than your average pop girl in her 20's these days. I'd take them over Miley, Ariana, and Meghan. And Gaga and Adele look older than their age.

The problem isn't Madonna's age, it's the average age of her fanbase. It's women who are now 30-55 who made her a superstar, and they don't support new music like they used to (or their tastes have diverged). Once they dreamed of being like Madonna when they grew up, but now as they approach middle age many can't relate to her anymore. Even the youth who discovered her in 1998-2000 are ageing out of music fandom.

Yes, they do look good, but I wasn't talking about my personal opinion of who is more attractive. I disagree that Gaga looks older, but ven if she did and Adele does, they are still much younger than their 40s and 50s. You either need to be young or look young.

Pop music generally gravitates towards younger artists, and you are right, the age of the fans are important as well. In Pop music, once your main audience hits an average age of over 35, that is past the age advertisers are looking for on Pop radio...and really even HAC nowadays.

Has she scheduled any promo around this time? Also, it's really high for it's low radio position, I'm afraid the same thing is gonna happen to DFH that happend to LAM - radio is gonna peak weeks after the sales start declining

I'm not sure. Dear Future Husband seems to be doing better on radio than LAM was, so I'm not sure I'd worry about that too much.

14. Little Big Town - Girl Crush

This song is getting a lot of attention because it's openly gay lyrics are getting played on country radio and it's upsetting a lot of homophobics. Country is usually very off limits to homos-xuals, so this song could really start to change things.

They have some really good songs like Pontoon. :legend:

I will have to check this one out. :flower:
