Mills 446
Taylor Swift's 1989 debuts with 1.287M in its first week, making 1989 her 3rd #1 studio album on the BB 200 for this decade and her 4th overall since her debut. She's also now the 2nd female solo artist in this decade, after Gaga, to score at least three #1 albums, and the 8th overall. Her minimum US record sales are now at 97.65M.  And she'd easily hit the 98M mark once the updates for her digital songs are made available this week. Reaching 100M+ in record sales by the end of the year is not impossible. She's the biggest mover of record sales since Eminem, and is now a clear front-runner for the coveted 2010s' top artist of the decade award.  http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6304536/official-taylor-swifts-1989-debuts-with-1287-million-sold-in

CHANTEL 2
YOUR TOP 15: Taylor Swift continues to be a retail monolith in her second week at #1; assuming a 75% or so decline, Tay Tay will descend from the stratospheric to the merely gigantic. Meanwhile, a number of last night’s CMA winners and performers scoot their boots into the Top 15. Here’s how it looks headed into the weekend. Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 385-410k Now 52 (NOW) 65-70k Jason Aldean (Broken Bow) 30-35k *Calvin Harris (Columbia) 30-35k Barbra Streisand (Columbia) 30-35k Sam Hunt (MCA Nashville) 27-30k Florida Georgia Line (Republic Nashville) 27-30k Sam Smith (Capitol) 24-27k *Bette Midler (Atlantic) 21-24k Blake Shelton (Warner Bros. Nashville) 21-24k Miranda Lambert (RCA Nashville) 19-22k Neil Diamond (Capitol) 19-22k Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga (Columbia/Interscope) 19-22k Slipknot (Roadrunner) 18-21k Brantley Gilbert (Valory) 18-21k *Debuts In other news, the Democratic Party had a fairly underwhelming week at retail, but is very excited about its 2016 release.
