Pandora 162
I used to be a hater. But I just can't deny this girls power, keep slaying Taylor
LeoFameMonster 1,592
this is so weird how does she do this, like for real. Shake it off isn't even a huge song and yet she manages to slay in sales. And I did only think she is only big in the US/ Canada. I stand corrected or at least until final sales are released. Where the fug are all these taylor swift fans?

Spock 20,290
Where are the people that said Taylor is local? In the why don't people pirate her albums thread who will love me when the night is over
LeoFameMonster 1,592
What it really isn't. I mean shake it off wasn't played non-stop. You know like how Happy, Roar, Applause, Wreaking ball, Fancy and All about the bass were like so over played. I think maybe that helped the song sell well. But that's what I mean it wasn't over played song phenomenon. Well at least in my opinion as a radio listener in Canada
LoveandMagic 1,731
Not a Taylor fan but good for her! I hope she does something fun to celebrate. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

davidmonster 1,292
HDD : "SWIFTLY MAKING HISTORY: Taylor Swift will become the only artist to sell more than 1 million albums in a single week on three separate occasionsâ€â€not to mention on three consecutive releases. We can now comfortably project 1989 will pass the million mark in its first week of release. 2012’s Red opened with 1.2m, while 2010’s Speak Now opened with 1.05m. She's also currently running the iTunes table and has "Shake It Off" #1 at Pop. Oh, and she was on Good Morning America this morning, announcing she's been made a "Welcome Ambassador" for NYC, among other things. So ... how's your week going? GagaMyBlood95 9,901
Yeah, 1989 is going over 1M first week... My original prediction was 650-850k if I'm not mistaken but now when I see all of her songs on iTunes and the hype, it will be 1000000+ something... Wow, just wow
