Klou 2,414
It must be depressing for Bruno chart fans that they didn't break Mariah's golden record. I will never feel sorry for anyone or their fan base after spending 14 weeks at #1.

Mills 446
What about Ed Sheeran? Doesn't he have three 1M sellers now? Yup. My bad. X was the 2nd album by a male solo who scored 3 platinum singles among the 2013-2014 mainstream releases after Eminem's TMMLP2, and it's also the first 2014 album by a male artist to collect 3 million sellers when the album's 3rd single TOL topped 1M by the start of this year.Title / Artist / RTD sales (as of week ending)Thinking Out Loud - Ed Sheeran - 3,740,222 (4/5/15)Don't - Ed Sheeran - 1,784,566 (4/5/15)Sing - Ed Sheeran - 1,323,000 (1/4/15)
Mills 446
It must be depressing for Bruno chart fans that they didn't break Mariah's golden record. Perhaps disappointing for those who really rooted for UF to break the all-time record, but Bruno Mars getting the longest-running #1 hit on the Hot 100 in the 2010s, the 2nd longest reign of all time, and becoming only the 23rd overall artist to score at least 30 weeks atop Billboard's flagship singles popularity chart since 1955 - all thanks to UF's 14-week reign, I'd say it's not really close to 'depressing', as compared to, let's say, a lead single tanking or an album failing to sell despite huge promotional campaign.

Mills 446
@Mills do you have the numbers for mashal mathers lp 2? both singles and album Title / Artist / RTD sales (as of week ending)The Monster - Eminem ft. Rihanna - 3,575,000 (7/13/14)Berzerk - Eminem - 1,281,000 (10/20/13)Rap God - Eminem - 1,000,000 (3/2/14)The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013) - Eminem - 2,264,000 (12/28/14) And if you're also interested, here are the rest of his latest Nielsen Music-reported record sales: When it comes to combined career album sales and digital song sales, his total of 96.39M+ only rivals Taylor Swift's 109.08M+ US records sold. Two other contemporary artists closely bubbling under the 90M+ threshold are Rihanna and Jay Z, with 86.43M+ and 84.80M+ Nielsen Music-reported sales respectively. Interesting that among the four, Taylor Swift is the only one who didn't release or is associated with hip-hop music.
