Uptown Funk didn't drop from the weekend effect as much as it normally does. It's not going away soon :deadbanana:

Whispering

Madonna really deserved that #1 RH is a really good album plus she's been working hard for her career for 30 years, she should be reaping the benefits now but it's like she has to work even harder to get the GP to even notice her music

Her last album sold around 160K (without the give aways) and that was with The Super Bowl. The leak this time didn't matter either way, there was no way she was selling close to even that low number...even with the good promo she got.

People in general simply don't care about her new music anymore. She is a legacy act in touring, and that's what brings in the big tour numbers.

the leak really hurt the album  :noparty: hopefully shell make even better album in the future

I think her response hurt more than the leak itself. How many people bought the sixpick in December and decided that was enough, and the remaining material didn't merit a full album purchase?

Most illegal downloaders will download anyway, and most superfans will support their artist anyway.

Well deserved. Lively dancey music still can thrive on the charts. Bruno has redeemed himself since his 1st album, where I thought the singles were boring and sappy.
