Bad Monster Kid

DFH>>Title>>Flops are moving

I'm having a drag queen perform DFH at my wedding next month. It's the perfect song and occasion. Should have released that smash in waiting.

Anyway, pre-orders alone so far are probably more than Queen of the Clouds 1st week sales close to 20k.

20. Meghan Trainor - Lips Are Movin

It's probably easy to make additional hits when you use the same formula as your mediocre hit song. "So, totes thinking about writing a song about loving your body. Um, gonna write about how those skinny b---hes need to gtfo and that being thick is good cause guys will have more to play with. Thinking about giving some **** recycled beat and then calling it All About the Bass." :later:

That album is gonna be ABTB x 12 essentially. Everything I've heard is the same basicness.

she's signed to Epic, the worst label out there. They can still be released though.

that didn't work with Carly Rae, Robin Thicke, Psy or any of the other one-hit wonders, so this statement is wrong, as is everything that followed it. Ciao. :ohwell:

(Plus the songs ain't even similar. There's a genre called doo-wop, you might need to check it out hihi)

You're right, those you listed are Meghan Trainor's contemporaries. Forgot how similar Carly Rae and Meghan were. :omfgaga:

I doubt Meghan Would be a one-hit wonder.

Even if you listen to the songs she has out now - I admit, LAM is the worst - they are a lot better than the songs of other one hit wonders like Carly or Psy. I just hope she brings out the video for LAM soon because it's time to give the song a push

lmao, whatever. This year is owned by Ariana and Taylor and I dont even know why I need to defend her success with this closeminded ppl.

Taylor owned this year. Next would probably be Sam Smith, who already has the 5th highest selling album of 2014, but will end up at 3rd. (behind Taylor and Frozen)

Ariana has the 34th selling album this year. :smh: She did not own this past year!

People ahead of her on the 2014 album chart who have had pop hits: Iggy, Maroon 5, John Legend, Coldplay, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith.

Sam will end up with a platinum album and has 4 radio hits in this past year alone. By the time he ends up winning a bunch of Grammy awards, 2014 will be his year...way more than Ariana's!
