Can I just say how thankful I am that Gaga does not lipsync

can Britney Spears even really sing? I'm legitimately asking this because I have never once heard her singing voice live. :awkney:

Her singing voice on her albums isn't really singing either. I think of it more as talking on pitch in a whiny baby voice. She could probably sing something like happy birthday without having to dance and sound okay, but I think even Katy Perry and/or Taylor Swift have better voices (from technical AND aesthetic perspectives) than her, and that's a really, really low bar.

Britney's fans are used to feasting on scraps and lapping it up, so the fact that they're dismayed at her lack of singing in the Knee Against the Music casino theatre show is quite amusing. However, the fact that she can't even be bothered to do some pre-recorded "live" vocals is very lazy. And the fact that they insisted she would be singing live is very much a kii. Anyone with half a brain should have known that her thin vocals do not combine well with even the most mediocre dancing. It's just physically impossible. Oh well.

I'm somewhat of a britney Stan (mostly sentimental) I listened to britney jean and it's good. It makes me feel bad for the britney stans because I can understand using the backing track with the vocals but at least sing over the prerecorded vocals don't just lipsync. People are paying money for that ****.

I'm just happy gaga gives us our money's worth

:smh: Britney puts on a damn good show, especially her Vegas show. It looks phenomenal. I never thought Britney would get back to this level of performing. And to be fair, this is something that Britney has ALWAYS done from day one, so I don't know why people are getting all upset over it when its been 15 years that she's been doing this.

I'm asking myself the same thing....She's nice and everything but her stage life is a fraud

She doesn't need that anyway, except when sore throat.

I watched a few of her performances earlier, her live singing voice isn't that good.... it sounds weird and forced and she has little control over it considering how easy the songs are to sing.

This is hailed as one of her best vocal performances ever:

(After watching it again it's not as bad as the first time idk why :awkney:)

This is a better example

The way she makes her voice jump at the start of words especially in the first few seconds of the song is bad but I guess she can sing a bit.

I'm going to see Britney in Vegas because ei don't care about lip-syncing, I wouldn't see Gaga because after all she said. But it's okay for Britney

I've heard Britney singing Happy Birthday for Simon Cowell and her non-existent voice scarred me for life.

We should all take a moment to appreciate the fact that Gaga sings live for us
