Most of her singles are chosen and promoted before the video is shot. She has made so many obvious references to venus and the fact that it was supposed to be the second single really makes you think its quite a possibility atleast at some point but nothing is confirmed....even when gaga says so herself obviously Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't think so before but today has made me consider it. We really shouldn't assume things though. Also, I believe it was Gaga's decision to change the single, but yeah. I don't care where it peaks, I just don't want Gaga to be totally shafted on radio so early in the era again. It's really the only thing keeping her on people's minds right now. Consider the fact that radio bases what it plays off of the iTunes chart and the fact that Venus literally JUMPED off the charts within a week of its promo release... I know a lot of people wanna just say **** it with the singles, but in my opinion this is a crucial time in her career and a move like that can be ****ing stupid... Especially with something that really ISNT as experimental as y'all make it out to be. Don't get me wrong, I like Venus, but there are much better songs on the album.
