 I cant exactly pinpoint whats going on, but all i know is the magic is fading, fast. Ive never been one of those demanding/ chart obsessed fans. Ive never let chart positions and sales influence what i listen to. I didnt care for it when she was booming, and i dont care for it now. But this is an absolute mess and Im really getting tired of it now. Shes beginning to act like a school teacher and i almost get the impression that she is punishing her fans. I love her message regarding the spreading of love and kindness, but I never saw her as "mother monster". I saw her as a pioneer, someone to look up to, and a fascinating artist (most importantly). I dont feel that anymore. I like ARTPOP, but its difficult to listen to when there's so much crap going on with it at the same time. Some of the fans GaGa personally involves herself with have also been hateful and ignorant. If people are going to be negative, thats THEIR choice and THEIR opinion. Feel compassion for them and move on.

People need to stop assuming they know what happened with Troy, LAG and that director for TEOG video. There's a difference between them not being yes-men and trying to explicitly interfere with Gaga's vision, which is what I believe they tried to do. I'm on the fence with this issue because I agree with points from both sides of the stances fans have taken.

lady gaga was a force, she came out of nowhere for a lot of the big industry b---hes, and she freaking dominated the moment just dance went platinum.. #1 after #1 on the pop charts, everyone was saying it's going to stop, the industry was trying to tear her down from day 1 saying she's weird/dance music on radio is for gays.. etc..

 

she messed up now, and her fans are just giving her advice based on what other successful pop stars are doing.. I mean.. it's not htat bad, they just get mad when she just doesn't do anything publicly are let's the fans know if she is in progress of getting back on track..

 

 

back in 2008/2009, she said so many times she wasn't here for anything but to change the world one record at a time..................

 

what is she doing with being anything less than #1? How are you changing the world, when you are allowing x female artist who took a huge page from you take all your star power and use it for their own shock value? Because anyone that has followed the industry knows exactly that is what is and has happened with the likes of her peers.. trying to TAKE HER SPOT..

she stepped it down.. ARTPOP is an amazing album.. but in terms of her control with media and being a head of her peers easily.. everytime she is not that ahead anymore..

That's terrible. The unnecessary negativity here has to stop. ESPECIALLY that it is coming from those who are supposed to support you and are called your fans.

It's unbelievable the amount of requests, meltdowns and disappointment over the artist.

I think the tabloid garbage has always been there, for MJ, Madonna (Erotica/Bedtime Stories), Mariah, Winehouse, but Lady Gaga gets this special treatment from her very own fans, which looks like something I've never seen before. (The closer you are, the more it hurts. And LGaga is well-known to be one of the stars with one of the closest relationship with her fans)

The relationship with fans who behave like critics/crybabies can't be an healthy one, NOT EVEN if were those fans to give the artist the status the said artist reached. Otherwise fans are no better than uncivilized tribes which used to adorn a girl and treat her like a goddess, before killing her.

It has zero use, really. If you dislike something somebody did, the best thing to do is to say it to his/her face. This in real life.

If you don't like a painting, or any other piece of art, you simply don't buy it, that's it. There is no REAL contact with the artist if not the emotional one which can't be explain in words (put apart in 4-words-sentences on a forum). I would pay to see anyone of the people that complained about any so-called mistake during this era, go to Gaga and say the exact same word he/she wrote, in her face. They'd probably just melt away by saying "I love you, you changed my life" and other **** like that.

I read words like betrayal. I read people opening topic about "how the tracklist could be redone". I'm in disbelief. How can #1 make it right to be a fan? How can a real artist print singles and shoot videos like a fastfood worker? Where does an artist get his/her energy from. She says she is sorry she "withdrew" so much, but for what I see many fans aren't doing something different.

What is the point? What do you need, really?

We don't know what's happening behind what's shown to us and all we can do is conjecture.

There was a time (I read someone else on the forum saying this) where fans used to wait months for the next thing the artist would offer to the public.

Everyone had his/her own idea on the project/song/whatever and they were sharing their thoughts face to face when meeting at concerts.

The world has changed, for sure.

I work in a hotel. You know what's the most stressfull thing that can occour to me or one of my colleagues? Bad review on TRIPADVISOR. It's unbelievable the amount of meltdowns I've seen at work caused by a bad review with the name of the receptionist on it. You work 10 hours/day, get **** from costumers, your boss, plus problem solving and THEN you have to take a look daily at whats new on the "rant page", as we call it.

People tend to talk **** if they think "meh". People tend NOT to talk if they like something. It's easier and somehow relieving to talk bad about something, I dunno why, but I've seen this happening loads of time.

A friend of mine used to say "if you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything at all"-

Everybody can have is own opinion, fair, it would be crazy if it was the opposite. But you always have to think about what you can "produce" with a negative opinion expressed in unmannered way.

Especially if you are a ****ing fan. How can you spit in the soup you are desperatly waiting  to eat.

I don't know people, before you spill the new rant, have a walk with your dog, join a cult, go jogging, do 100 pushup a day for 20 days and show your before and after pics. I dunno, be inventive, get a life for **** sake.
