I completely agree with what you are saying. Cersei in particular isn't my absolute favorite character in the story but Lena delivers her performance as Cersei in a way that demands viewers to look at her and she is just amazing :legend:

"LS"

FFS. Great disguise, guys :fail:

i just don't get the need to surreptitiously spoil people. it ain't kewl. spoilers ain't kewl. just say nothing at all, we'll survive not knowing until we can discover for ourselves in the show.

i like her but i can't ever really feel sympathy for her. on the times that misfortune falls upon her i just think she deserves it or it's not really anything compared to the viciousness that's in her. that's the weird thing about this show, it makes it hard to root for someone. right now i'm probably rooting for stannis but the seediness of the lord of light thing and melissandre makes it difficult to give him full support. i think that's one of the best things about this show actually. even danaerys is a little too smug for my liking and i love her story.

Apparently Myrcella Baratheon (Cersei's daughter) has been recast :/

The merry-go-round of casting continues into season five, it seems! We’ve learned through unofficial sources that when King Tommen’s big sister returns to our screens in season five, she’ll have a new face.

Princess Myrcella Baratheon was last seen in season two being shipped off to Dorne in tears. WiC‘s unofficial sources have confirmed that Northern Irish actress Aimee Richardson, who originated the role of the princess, will not be returning next year. Rumor has it that English actress Nell Tiger Free will be taking on the role. If these rumors are correct, this will be second Baratheon recasting, with Dean-Charles Chapman taking over the role of Tommen in season four.
Nell Tiger Free is best known for starring as Chloe in the BBC adaptation of Mr. Stink. The actress also recently guest-starred on an episode of the crime series Endeavour. HBO has declined to comment on any casting at this time.

This is so sad, looking at Aimee's twitter you can tell that she really loves the show and was really excited to return,.. Here's the new girl.

i do like the new tommen but most people won't even know that he or the new myrcella are different actors tbh.. i don't see the point in changing myrcella tho cuz they look so similar

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

The thing with Cersei tho is that she somewhere actually has a heart. She's doing it all for her children. It's just that she's so vain that she couldn't love anyone but herself (and her other half with whom she shared a womb). It's complicated.

As I understand, you haven't watched the season finale of season 4, but there's a scene which shows a side of Cersei that makes her human (or at least a tiny bit more closer to).

There's also a scene in season 1 or 2 (can't remember) with Tyrion where she shows vulnerability.

They're really not sticking to the books anymore. I hope they don't venture off into different directions and totally disrespect the source material. They're really dumbing down storylines and destroying characters..

- Jamie is supposedly against rape & assault of women.. well. I'm sorry but the scene between him and Cersei at the beginning of the season was rape. Cersei clearly said no. It was just a stupid writing decision that I'm afraid has tarnished an amazing character.

- Tyrion. They haven't destroyed him, but in the books.. before Tyrion went up to Tywin's Chambers, Jamie revealed that Tyrion's first wife was never a prostitute paid by the Lannisters. Tyrion swore to Jamie he'd destroy both him and Cersei before leaving.. there was never a hug between the 2. It's essential to Tyrion's character. Grrrrr. I don't understand the decision. The final Tyrion scene was rushed.

- Jojen. (& that whole Bran-arc) Mess. He's still alive in the books. He hadn't fulfilled his purpose. Plus, they've omitted a certain character that would honestly make the Bran-arc one of the more exciting ones.

I just hope they can somehow redeem some of their mistakes. For example, Tyrion needs to find out the truth about Tysha (his first wife). Maybe Varys & his 'little birds' can inform him of it.

I'm bored. lol

the way you speak of the books reminds me of how angry i used to be over the HP movies :smh: the books are still there, its the original and the true story and the show is just an interpretation of it

but they have a whole season per book so you would think they'd include everything

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.

If you're a Catelyn fan, it's not really something to be happy about

I am a Catelyn fan and I would be happy to see her again as LS.

Okay, but that's surprising as

LS is basically the opposite of everything Catelyn fans liked her for to begin with

Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn
