Lana Winters 757
Cue the eye rolls, like it's been a LONG them since many of the cities in the US have seen Gaga, by the tour date for Chicago next she it'll be over 3 years. How the **** can someone tell me they couldn't save up $250 in 3 years?!? That's a damn joke!! People who work barely part time at my work can easily earn that in less than a month... I've only had my first job since February this year (minimum wage, part time, mind you) and for the first time ever I bought my own concert tickets with my own damn money and I'm proud of that. LMZ for Philly, Atlantic City, and Gaga's Birthday Roseland Ballroom show. I have GA to the March 30th show but I might not be able to go so I'm most likely selling that one but it still pisses me off. But trust me, they have the money, the just chose to spend it on GA instead to camp out and get more shows. They saved the money from LMZ to buy more tickets to more cities and in turn still think they're going to get front row.

Lana Winters 757
I'm just going to leave this here because it's not worth arguing about. It's simple. GA is what; $100 after fees? Imagine $100 + hotels + plane tickets + time off from work/school for each show. That alone would come out to the cost of a LMZ ticket and I would rather a guaranteed spot in the shows I can actually go to rather than spending the money on all that to have to camp out and not even be guaranteed front row. I have no problem with people buying regular GA tickets and flying out to other cities or camping. That's not the problem. But when people mock those who pay the extra $$$ for LMZ and think they're going to shove their way to the front...
lavenderblondee 3,695
I will be severely angry if someone tries that with me, and hope that security will kick them out, if people do anything like that. It's a joke that people love Gaga but at a concert of hers, are willing to injure people, just to see her. Makes no sense.
Speechless94 545
The monsterball had early entry and there was no issue at least for my venue. Plus there are like 2 hours from the time the doors open until when she performs. Its not that hard to move up in a crowd. People are moving around constantly. I have normal GA and Im not worried. I would have gotten LMZ but none of my other friends wanted to pay for it. If you have the cash, I say go for it.
Historia 4
people are so rude. I got regular GA tickets, and I am planning on camping out, but it's not a big deal that people with LMZ tickets are going to be in there first. They paid more money for the tickets and it doesn't mean they're not a big fan. If people are willing to become violent just to get a couple rows ahead, when we're all going to be near the front, then they shouldn't even bother showing up, because no one will put up with that crap. But when people mock those who pay the extra $$$ for LMZ and think they're going to shove their way to the front... Exactly. I'm flying from the UK for the Roseland show because it seems like a really special one-off event, plus I'm going to make a holiday of it, go and see Hedwig on Broadway while I'm there etc so I got LMZ because if I'm going that far already I damn well want a good view too! Plus I'm 4ft 9" so if I'm not at the front I'd really be as well being at the back.. I have no issue with people camping out either and I think at the ArtRave because if the stage a lot of campers will get front row even with LMZs there too, but it's just two sides of the same coin. Some people have the money but not the time, some people have the time but not the money. Some would rather sacrifice their savings than queue some would rather save / spend their money differently and are happy to camp.. Both are fair and you take what you get on the night. BangTheGong 310
People are just being dramatic when they threaten violence to get to the front row. We're all friends here, right ? But, as per all live shows when the music starts the energy is high you best be weary of people shoving and tucking their way to the front. It's inevitable that it happens. Speechless94 545
I think a lot of people are just getting confused (not on this forum (well maybe) but in general) and that is what is causing all the fuss. If you purchased a LMZ you are entitled to early entry, not proximity to the stage. If you get a GA ticket that doesn't mean you can't be first row. If you have time to camp out- even just the morning of, you will still probs get a spot front row or at least in the first 2-3. Someone said earlier that there is 2 sides to the coin. You either have money and little time or you have time and little money and both are just as good of reasons to be up front. Getting a LMZ does not mean you're not as dedicated. With this said however, I feel like a lot of people feel that just because they paid the extra money they are entitled to be at the front of the stage. This isn't true. Purchasing an early entry ticket just gets you early entry and you can do with that as you please (although I assume most people are headed straight for the stage) but that doesn't guarantee you a spot at the front. Get to the front of the stage and hold your ground; that's how you can show your dedication. The floor is the floor and it will be a war zone no matter what ticket you paid for. What I don't want to see is people thinking just because they paid extra, they automatically get to be at the front. If there is space and room to squeeze (with reasonable courtesy) you better believe I'm going to take advantage of that and move forward (I have a regular GA) but of course I - and I hope everyone else - wont be a d*ck about it and stays polite while keeping others in mind. Quite frankly if you're not okay with a little pushing or a tight squeeze then you don't belong on the floor in the first place...buy an ARTPOP zone ticket. No matter what show you go to there is going to be plenty of pushing and that's that; there's no way around it and people will just have to deal. If you've been to other shows before you will know this. In conclusion I hope everyone stays safe, polite, and makes new friends. We're all there for the same reason - to have a Ball. Pitch 204
if i manage to get a LMZ then id like to see them try to push past my mom, she turns into a dragon at times like thos, honestly i think she'd rather miss the show and spend the time getting them all thrown out than be pushed back a row LADY GAGA/madonna/katy perry/little mix/ariana grande/selena gomez/britney spears/taylor swift
thesmu 0
Hmm I think there are two kinds of squeeze / pushing that happens at gigs - one is ok and one is not. What is perfectly fine is either finding spots that haven't been taken or become available when the crowd naturally surges forward or towards certain parts of the stage. In any gig the audience will compress once the show starts and often front row spots towards the sides appear that weren't there before. Or of course if people are foolish enough to leave their spot and go to the bathroom / bar then you have every right to grab it. What's not ok is securing a spot by literally shoving people out if their spot, harassing them, elbowing them until they are so uncomfortable they move etc.. That's just being a dick. Thankfully in 20 years of gig going I've seen (and benefited from) a lot of the first kind and actually suffered very little of the bad kind. Security guards are also often quite good at pulling out people who are like that so genuinely beware if you are planning on using those tactics you do run he risk of ending up at the very back again, or even being ejected all together. Im glad you posted this. I feel like a lot of people in this thread are forgetting that when room opens up its fair game to everyone in the area and it is your personal responsibility to hold down your own spot. Thats basically the whole point of the floor- move with the surges. Just don't be an ass, stay polite, stay classy.
geopang 4,831
If anyone even thinks of pushing past me I will literally choke them out. I paid for the best spot, they didn't. Very simple. Just because you don't have the money and you're a huge gaga fan, it doesn't equate to ****.
artRaver 3,188
I feel like this thread is just a bunch of hostility towards people who bought GA tickets. Obviously a lot of people talk trash on the internet about what they're going to do at a Gaga concert to meet her but they don't even do half of the stuff they say they're going to do and are a bunch of shy people in real life who won't do anything but mumble under their breath so it's no reason to even get feisty or worked up over it. ✿ cherry blossom girl ✿
