Nonchalant 0
She may never have chart success again, but Britney is a legend and her career is a huge success, there's no denying it. Plus, she still has a strong following. People who say she has been over since 2004, she's had 4 #1 singles, and several other worldwide smash hits since then. The Circus era, ten years into her career, was far more success that the ARTPOP era has been and probably will be for gaga. We can't really be cocky about someone like Britney. Personally I think she's quite happy becoming totally irrelevant. I predict the last big, successful thing she'll do is a farewell tour, and then she'll totally disappear in her late 30's and go live her life how she really wants to. badromance 0
How is her music career dead ? she is one of the biggest pop stars ever, biggest saleing artist of our decade, she sold more then 100 million albums, and more then 100 million singles. she really is pop icon like madona, MDNA and Hard Candy did really bad but she is pop icon too, or Beyonce "4"...miley is doing better then gaga right now and that is ok and normal...britney is britney, and she is at top for 15-16 years...and she will never be the same, that is true...period from 1998-2005 is her best and she made huge impact on music scene, break all records and did everything and achive everything what is possible for one star. we all know what she did and acihive in period 1998-2006, except Madonna and MJ, no one has recahed her level of success. Not many can have a very long and successful career. She's made her mark and is such an influential pop phenomenon in the entertainment world. Blackout had huge imapct on pop scene and pop electro sound in time of her breakdown, WW hits like gimme more, piece of me... after breakdown she had HUGE #1 HITS: Womanizer sold more then 8 million WW, Circus, Till The World Ends, I Wanna Go, Scream and Shout ( it is will.i.am biggest hit ever and it is bcz of her and club song), "3" single from GH new album was #1 too, remix with Riri... 2#1 albums ( 2008 Circus, debut week: more then 500K in US, and more then 800k WW; #1FF album debut week 280k US, 500k WW) 2 WW tours: 2009/2011 2009 HUGE "CIRCUS Tour": In February 2010, Pollstar released their Top 50 Worldwide Concert Tours of 2009. The tour ranked as the fifth highest-grossing tour, worldwide, of the year, with a gross of $131.8 million. In May 2010, Hollyscoop ranked the tour at the fifth position in their 15 Most Profitable Female Tours Ever list. In 2010, Spears released her eighth fragrance, Radiance.Spears sold over one million bottles in the first five years, with gross receipts of $1.5 billion. 2011: Femme Fatale Tour was the eleventh highest-grossing tour of 2011, with a gross of $68.7 million 2012: -she became the highest-paid judge on a singing competition series in television history with more then 15 million salay. In December, Forbes magazine named her music's top-earning woman of 2012, with estimated earnings of $58 million. if she promote new album, she will do good again...everything is in marketing and promo, work b---h and parfume are really good songs, so we need to wait and see, maybe is everything about vegas.... JacobLindell 0
My theory is she has a family, and she needs the money. So shes pushing out these albums like pre-mature turds so she can pocket some cha-ching! She don't care about no performance pieces or tours or PROMO!
