ur right, everything is much more expensive here in the uk. The cheapest (and worst) tickets in the US were like $40 (i think??) But here in the uk it is £50 (for crap cheap seats) which in dollars is around $80!!!! GA for the Uk is £80 which in the US makes around $150. It will definately be possible to get over 100,000,000 with the european shows

Yeah, but we can't expect too much from the European shows. The American leg is underwhelming for most (I predicted 30-35M total, hopefully she'll reach it), but the American leg was actually doing quite well. The UK leg will probably make the difference. Hoping for 20-25M from those shows tbh, the rest of Europe (including Istanbul) will probably be ~22M.

Then there's Australia, ~7M, and the 4 Asian shows (excl. Seoul) which are ~16M.

Total: 30+20+22+7+16 = 95M

If she misses the 100M mark ...  :toofunny:

Hopefully Europe will slay. I see that Greece is giving hopes of selling out.

Whispering

... IM JUST SAYING ITS NOT TECHNICALLY SOLD OUT IN REAL LIFE BECAUSE THOSE TICKETS THAT COUNT AS BOUGHT ARE NOT ACTUALLY FILLED SEATS. I never actually followed concert attendance before so now that ive looked into it and I see how it works im noticing how it is. By comparison if we must, Katy Perry had 36 tickets left yesterday for her show today where as Gaga still has about 700. I think one should be much more inclined to call her show a true sold out show as opposed to this one.

...All of you continue calling her show a full house when it isn't and looking the other way.

Update on current numbers. Katy Perry has 700 tickets left for tonight's show. That means Katy is a "cheater" and her fans are "delusional" if they think tonight's show will be a "sold out in real life". It doesn't get any better for tomorrow night's show either, which has 800 tickets available.

But really, you explained it best:

It counts as a sold ticket even if their ass doesn't make it to the seat. So its labeled as a sold out show. But in actuality, theres going to be around 600-700 empty chairs up in that b---h. Meaning its not a full house therefore if you're being real about it and not just going by delusional fan labels, its not legitimately a sold out show because not close to every chair in that place is filled.

Its almost like cheating but its not because the ticket was purchased.

And some of you act like every ticket on stubhub bought is like a legit person that wanted to go but can't so they're selling it, like it isn't craigslist. Yeah im sure that happens but when theres that many tickets available that means someone bought **** in bulk to sell and make a profit. Even though it counts as a purchased ticket and she can say the show is sold out, its almost like cheating.

Katy Perry is cheating and faking her sold out shows! Who knew? :)

Looks like the ole Stubhub ticket racket is a booming business, but just not for Gaga!

I dont think she will be able to gross 100 million with this one tbh

I actually think she can with good European and Asian gross, and that's great for a smaller tour + "flop" album by Gaga standards..

I predict around 5 millions from Athens show ALONE.

So 22m from Europe is SO not realistic.  I predict 40m.

Also a question. In the boxscore, does the price of the ticket alone counts, or the taxes too?

Because my ticket says 90 euros + 15,5 ticketing fees

I predict ~4M from the Athens show. If it's 100% sold out (60k) it'll be 4,5M or perhaps even 5M. If it's 50k sold out (more likely) it'll be 4~4,5M.

Istanbul will probably be like 4M too.

And the rest of Europe... :sharon:

Here are my estimations for the FINAL attendance/gross for the European arena leg. Almost all shows will be reported as sold out, so the fact that most have about 3k tickets still available doesn't mean anything for the sold out status.

ANTWERP - Sportpaleis - 13.500/20.000 - $1,3M

AMSTERDAM - Ziggo Dome - 12.000/17.000 - $1,1M

HERNING - Jyske Bank Boxen - 13.000/15.000 - $1,3M

OSLO - Telenor Arena - 11.000/23.000 - $1,3M

STOCKHOLM - Ericsson Globe - 15.000/16,000 -  $1,7M

HAMBURG - O2 World - 13.500/16,000 - $1,3M

PRAGUE - O2 Arena - 8.000/18,000 - $0,7M

KOLN - Lanxess Arena - 14.000/20,000 - $1,4M

BERLIN - O2 World - 11.500/13,500 - $1,0M

DUBLIN - The O2 - 10.000/14,500 - $0,9M

PARIS - Zenith de Paris - 6.500/6,700 - $0,6M

PARIS - Zenith de Paris - 6.500/6,700 - $0,6M

VIENNA - Wiener Stadhalle - 13.000/14,000 - $1,3M

MILAN - Mediolanum Forum - 12.500/12,500 - $1,1M

ZURICH - Hallenstadion - 12.000/13,000 - $1,5M

BARCELONA - Palau Sant Jordi - 17.000/18,000 - $1,2M

LISBON - MEO Arena - 12.000/18,006 - $0,9M

PARIS - Bercy Arena - 14.500/15,500 - $1,3M

Total - 20,5M

Of course this is very inaccurate, but they're estimations and they shouldn't be taken too seriously.

And now I look back at the earlier post with the 5M missing, I put 30M for the NA leg which is a bit low (probably like $32M~35M) and I put a number too low for the European shows.
