Griffin 6
Oh well. I was so impressed with the crowds and the show as we saw photos and videos without numbers, there's no point in me being disappointed now that there are dollar signs attached to the show. Still impressed, no matter what gross! I'm going to contradict myself a little though and just leave this here. Possible final grosses from 75 headlining dates (excl. the 4 festivals) $86.1M - If Gaga stays in line with her artRAVE average/per show. $98M - If the last 22 unreported shows gross the same as the BTWB's Europe Average (includes 5 stadiums though) So I'm going to say a $91M tour. If Gaga didn't have Cheek To Cheek to worry about she could extend it into late December, she could pull this (if they announced it like early September). Nov 29 - Mexico City, Mexico - Mexico City Arena Dec 1 - Corboda, Argentina - Orfeo Superdome Dec 4 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - HSBC Arena Dec 6 - São Paulo, Brazil - Ginasio Ibirapeura Dec 15 + 16 - Hong Kong, Hong Kong - AsiaWorld Arena Dec 18 - Singapore, Singapore - Singapore Indoor Stadium That would do it. Edited October 9, 2014 by Griffin

PolishKapi 0
There's one thing that's worrying me in the boxscores - numbers for Dubai and Perth. The reported attendance for Dubai was 8,365. For Perth it's 8,120. While I was looking at pics of these shows, it's impossible for me to think of the Dubai show being of the same size as the Perth show. Either Dubai boxscore was REEEAAAALLYYY lowered, or the Perth boxscore was raised
craig 680
Vancouver - Fair numbers but it's sort of odd to be under $1million Original date was cancelled due to illness, rescheduled to midsummer. Likely lost folks along the way. Greece is suffering economically like the Great Depression, huge youth unemployment. Tel Aviv was in doubt all summer due to war. Numbers are okay. craig 680
The haters will be more disappointed by these numbers than we are, because they engage in more wishful thinking. Someone on another board was insisting she only sold 4-5k in Amsterdam and Antwerp, but it's 14-15k each. VforVendetta 2,024
Mess at the boxscores. Anyway, we are moving on, it's not like the Era was successful. Edited October 9, 2014 by VforVendetta

craig 680
TMBT grossed 238,4 million not 250 from 200 shows....and the ARTPOP Ball has 78 dates and it will do 85-90m. ¬_¬ So a successful decent sized arena tour. It's better for her health and creativity not to tour for 18 months each album, and with young fans she can't expect to charge inflated Madonna or classic rock prices (like she moved towards on BTW Ball, but now cheap seats are $35). Whispering 18,865
Mess at the boxscores. Anyway, we are moving on, it's not like the Era was successful. This fan base has unrealistic expectations. Their definition of "successful" is skewed and completely unrealistic. That's why they always end up whining and feeling miserable about everything. In 2011, exactly 5 artists hit the 90 million or more mark. In 2012, 7 artists accomplished this number. Last year, there were 10 acts to hit the 90 million mark. (and one was the MJ Immortal tour and four were legacy acts) Year in and year out, there are only around 5 non-legacy acts that get close to what Gaga is going to gross with this current tour. If around 90 million is "unsuccessful", then 99% of the current artists out there are unsuccessful in the music industry today.

I just want realistic and calm thoughts.
Whispering 18,865
Her first arena grosses $250M+....her third arena tour grosses about $85-$90M+. The DECAY is real! But no, seriously, her not grossing $100M is not tha big of a deal. You can't compare a tour that lasted 18 months to one that will go for 7 months. Comparing the gross of 200 dates vs. 78 dates also doesn't make sense.
