Anyways we're pretty much done with those awkward shows with vague ticket sale information.

She's back in arenas by Wednesday

Whispering

It's just like the last 30k she needed to outsell PRISM first week in the US. That would've gotten her so much positive media attention. A 100M tour is like a sort of margin you get over for your tour to be considered successful.

But at least we're accepting it now already, we won't have big meltdowns in November/December :spin: I don't think they're going to add new dates in Latin America. She shouldn't exhaust those markets. Taiwan/China is too far away, too.

No. it wouldn't have. Gaga is and was held to different standards. There were tons of media articles defending Katy's first week number, but just the opposite was true for Gaga. Besides, the media had already been dragging Gaga for months (years really) before the first week number. That just gave them more reason to drag even harder.

100K is the number that you have to get over for a tour to be considered successful? Really? If that's true, outside of the legacy acts, there are only about 5 artists a year that have a successful tour then. (looking at 2011, 12, 13)

I couldn't care less about some number people have made up in their heads as being the magical number, but I can already tell you that we WILL have meltdowns. That's a given.

yes it's totally lavris mistake. The fans were reporting the numbers that they had been told by the organisers.

Fans didn't intend to spread false info on purpose.

I don't think the promoters ever gave those numbers tbh. It's not their fault. Promoters can't spread attendance numbers before the show (at least until the boxscores), like all the promoters as Live Nation and others, Lavris is not giving tickets sales. They clearly can't because tickets sales are confident infos. Also... All the fans were saying that the sources were Lavris, Germanos, but never gave any proof, like a screenshot or something. I tried to contact them too (if they're answering fans, I don't know why they wouldn't answer me tho), and I did it several times on Facebook or with my email adress, nobody answered me, and if you try they won't answer you too. I guess it's just a tissue of lies, the only information that we had was that Gaga's show sold 6k tickets in the first day...

Can't we update the OP with Pollstar's attendances ?

JUNE 03 - SAN JOSE - SAP Center at San Jose - SOLD OUT - 14,181/14,181 (100%)

JUNE 28 - ATLANTIC CITY - Boardwalk Hall - SOLD OUT - 13,217/13,217 (100%)
JULY 17 - DALLAS - American Airlines Arena - ENDED - 11,427/13,500 (85%)
AUGUST 02 - STATELINE - Harveys Outdoor Arena - SOLD OUT - 6,983/6,983 (100%)

AUGUST 20 - PERTH - Perth Arena - ENDED - 5,690/10,000+ (57%)
AUGUST 26 - BRISBANE - Brisbane Entertainment Centre - ENDED - 6,790/12,000 (57%)

I changed some capacities, until Billboard reports the numbers officially (and put the shows as sold-out :teehee:).

Okay so there's 74 (headlining) dates. Her current gross per show is $995,196. Don't freak, we only have confirmed Billboard info from the first 14 dates, two of which were performed to <10k people (and that was legit arena capacity).

With her current average, she'd make $73.5M+.

With a $1.1M average, she'd make $81.5M+.

With a $1.2M average, she'd make $90M~.

To make $100M, she needs a $1.36M per show average.

With TMB's gross per show average, she'd make almost $84M.

With BTWB's gross per show avg, she'd make slightly above $140M.

Without the 2 <10k shows from the first 14 dates, her average was $1.04M - this would make about $77M. Bearing in mind that US shows typically bring in the lowest grosses of any tour, and that she's performed 6 stadium/park dates (to audiences about the equivalents of 2+ arena shows) she mights JUST scrape $100M.

Just thought you guys would like this as a little reference. $100M is so close, yet so far away. :toofunny:

And remain optimistic! Tokyo & Dubai have potential to rake in tour-saving grosses.

You forgot the numbers from Pollstar. So... From 20 dates, the average gross per show is now $1,009,682  :hehe:

I think she can have +$90M

Let's pray for a good $100M  :excited:

I didn't like to include them because the gross typically alters between Pollstar and Billboard, and I preferred to keep it from one ultimate source (BTWB/MB scores are obviously also from BB).

I believe pollstar grosses are often slightly lower than billboard grosses, is that right anyone? So it could be better than that $1.009M figure as well.

Yes you're all right, the gross is sometimes adjusted, but the difference is really insignificant. For example, Pollstar reported $1,044,307 for Gaga's show in Edmonton, and Billboard reported $1,053,861...

So, it's safe to say that her gross average is at least $1,009M, but yes, it'll be probably a bit more with Billboard  :)

Not The Real Gaga

Hello everybody here. This is maybe a kind of weird question, but it's a very important question for me. My father is sick, the doctors have discovered a tumor in the esophagus. Fortunately, it's a good one. But the doctors will also investigate wether there is another tumor in his body. So, it's an exciting time for us. He goes to the 'AMC Hospital' in Amsterdam, close to the Ziggo Dome. So, when everything is fine with him, my mum and I will go to Gaga, because it is an evenement we both love.

I have never written a letter to an artist, but now I wanna write a letter to Gaga to ask her to sing a special song for my dad (maybe he is in the hospital that date). But, there is one problem. I'm not standing, because my mother has weak legs. I'm sitting in 'Vak 102' (if I'm right). So, I'm looking for somebody who will throw my letter on stage. It should be a honor. I will applause for you!

(Sorry for the bad English)

Of Twitter? Je kan misschien zelfs meerdere mensen vragen, dat zou je kansen heel erg vergroten (hoewel het misschien een beetje.. egoïstisch is om er meerdere te doen).

Why she cant just add few more dates here and there so that the 100m figure is on the lock

Because Gaga wants to have the tour finished by 21(?) November.. It's not very easy to get new dates either, and for Gaga and LiveNation it doesn't really matter that much. I just hope that it won't bring in bad media attention.

did she said why she want to end exactly on that date ir she just wanna end withit as fast as possible and move with he next prpjects cuz i see nothing wrong with adding few extra dates + she has enough amount of distance btw the dates it's not as tight as the MB schedule where her breaks were one day where she had to fly from one country to the other. It wont just look good all her tours having 100m attendence only artrave below it will look like failiure and actually artrave is selling more than the MB
