somechick 1
Yes, this is a small tour, but be sure that it is this way because thats the potential right now. Asia may be the only place where there is real potential for more. In the rest of the world, there isnt, which doesnt mean that in some places she cant add a ( second) date and sell it, but the gross would probably look like Saint Paul or Uncasville if she would do that. To be fair, I still think in some cities she could have added a second date in the US. It is a pity she's skipping so much of Asia though, but the US figures are decent at least. She's making more than enough money - probably more than any of us will see in our lifetimes. ;)
Rainbow Unicorn 82
Also she was never a good ticket seller in the US. She was an incredible ticket seller in the US during the Monster Ball 2.
WarriorPrince 1
She was an incredible ticket seller in the US during the Monster Ball 2.0 In the MB she had three seperate US legs In 2009 2010 and 2011 in order to "sell out" those arenas more than once. Also you should never compare Gaga nowadays to how powerful she was back in 2009-2010. Edited June 19, 2014 by EnigmaPopstar
Luc 4,772
She is doing just as good as any other pop girl or even better. Also she was never a good ticket seller in the US. In the MB she had three seperate US legs In 2009 2010 and 2011 in order to "sell out" those arenas more than once. Katy Perry has 60+ big arena dates in North America (because there's a lot of demand) with prices similar to Gaga. Let's not Beyoncé is doing a stadium tour in North America, Miley did about as well if not a little bit better in North America. Pink did two legs (because the demand was there) and Madonna... Arturo 40,746
Miley did really good in North America She's pulling in bigger attendances than Gaga and will bring in more people than Katy too but that's mostly because of her stage. It's super small. Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Philly, and Washintion didn't seem like they sold-out. Sold-out show like Lady Gaga TBH Those all sold out except Atlanta. Arturo 40,746
We still got 21 more North American shows that will be reported. I'd say 23 but Ottawa and QC aren't going to be reported..... She's going to have a 410,000+ attendance for NA which is ok if you ask me. :)
StrawberryBlond 13,427
Uhmmmm, the gross are good to me. SOLD OUT SHOWS LIKE LADY GAGA! Plus, we still haven't seen the other dates yet. ;) They are good - it's not unusual to miss the 1 million mark with the occasional show. Rihanna, Katy, Taylor, etc. have all had many NA shows that have grossed under 1 mil but still been successful. I don't get why some people are disappointed with the Edmonton show - that attendance is at maximum capacity and the gross was one of the highest. I don't get why she couldn't play at the XL Center in Conneticut instead of the teeny Mohegan Sun Arena because she'd sell it out for sure. Oddly enough, everyone going to Conneticut seems to be going there now, even artists that are huge. I just don't understand it when there's a bigger arena in the capital, which is a much more populated city and therefore, likelier to sell.
