Total Mayhem is made up by fans and will not come out. But her media team uses the term to create some sensation. Mayhem was an ambitious project. I think they wanted her to shine and top everything. It performed well, but I think it did not meet expectations. I think Abracadabra was expected to be a cultural reset and be #1 on charts for months. But sadly it didn't. Don't get me wrong, it's my fave song of all time. But after all the promo and spotlights, this album was sure to be expected to top it all. Even though it has not achieved what it was supposed to. It did well. Gaga reached out to a newer generation. Not to everyone. but to some, and that's a hard thing to do, as you are considered to be an artist for the old people. With Mayhem, she showed everyone she can do hits. And perform well. She does not have to prove herself right now. So I think LG8 will be a more experimental album. Not for the charts or the public. More artsy, if you will. Dark, slow industrial pop album. Not meant to trend or be #1. But to show Gaga's legacy. She might even try a new genre... She did so much fan service with Mayhem. We got everything we ever wished for (for years). After the Mayhem-ball tour, it's her time to take a break. Gaga will continue to perform and deliver great music. That's for sure. But I think she won't create music for the charts for quite some time. (as she just did). I think her next musical album project will take some time. But that does not mean we won't get some TV/cinema thing in between, or even some jazz maybe. But her next ambitious pop album that's meant to be mainstream is far, far, far away for sure...otherwhise people might see her as tryhard or cringe.. that's at least what I think. And I've been a monster since The Fame Monster. We got so much and should be grateful. Mother Monster is delivering like no one else. Much love. Interested in what you guys think. I love this era so much I don't want it to end soon one thing I'm hoping, and I think it's possible, is we get MAYHEM ball tour film LG8 probably 5yrs from now or possibly longer I wonder if she will continue acting, or she's not getting good offers after Joker? I know she will always make music but I feel like we're in a big transition.
