Whispering

Thats horrible. And these would have been the dates where she would have made 1,5 m.

Gaga will still make the money for tonight. The boxscore report just won't look so great. What are you going to do? Shiit happens.

A couple of dates, that had to be rescheduled, aren't going to make or break Gaga or the tour. I'm sure the 10K-11K there tonight will have an amazing time and get their monies worth! :)

msg is almost sold out :awkney:

wow. shocking. much interesting.

you point out one date in NYC to assert whatever claim you are trying to make...trying looking at cities that aren't new york and don't have 9 million people living in it

The way this map looks and the ones available for the new dates in NA shows what Ive said. There isnt any hype around the tour right now and the fact that she doesnt have a hit on radio affects her more than with the last tours. She cant afford another ARTPOP era.

New dates have been edited in. Do you think I've got the capacities right or thereabouts? There is a little gap between Birmingham and Glasgow and Glasgow and Sheffield, but I'd imagine she's just taking some rest in between and is unlikely to add two more cities in there. As adding dates after Portugal goes against how I thought the tour was going to play out, there's still plenty of room for her to add more dates after Paris. I'm a bit put out that she hasn't added a date in Finland so far (I know the album didn't sell that well over there, but there's a small arena in Helsinki she could've gone to, or an average sized arena in Turku). But who knows, maybe she's planning to round the whole thing up to 80 dates. Glad to see the France situation is being handled better, though she could stand to add one more date in the south and it would be perfect. Jumping for joy that she added a second date in Glasgow! It's such an honour that she's coming to my city twice! Nice to see that she didn't leave the north of England in the cold either. This really is a great UK leg she's got. I think LiveNation is really trying to make it up to us for downsizing last time.

Yup, I think the UK tour is now almost up to standards. An 11th date from the supposed 4th London date would be a nice addition.

It would be cool if during "Fashion" Gaga showed different people in the audience and their amazing outfits. Just an idea

I was just being careful because I didn't think the new capacity had come into effect yet (I belive it wasn't going to be ready until 2015).

I'm thinking maybe it'll be a last minute surprise or something, in order to make it sell. If Arthur Fogel said it would happen, it must. Everything else he said has been true so far. It's been speculated that it hasn't been added because the 3rd date hasn't sold out, but they can make a half house setting if the 4th date underperforms and give away lots of free tickets for it. If Justin Bieber could do 4 gigs at the O2 with an album that sold worse than ARTPOP and Taylor Swift could do 5 sold out gigs at the O2, I see no reason why Gaga can't do 4. It would certainly prove that she's got fans all over the UK, not just in London, because doing 4 London gigs is a lot to ask if you're also doing an additional 7 dates in the rest of the UK. That's precisely the reason why Taylor's gigs were kept strictly to London - to force her small number of fans to go to this one venue, thus selling it out impressively. Because if she had gigs in every major city, the demand would be spread out and those arenas would be half empty. The way the demand is going for Gaga's tour, we could expect as high as a 148,000 overall UK attendance is every gig sells out, and if that 4th London show is added, all the better. I'm sure we'll beat the BTWB's UK attendance, which would be a major coup considering that was a much more successful era.

I must say, LiveNation threw a curve-ball at me when I saw Sheffield and Newcastle. I was expecting the new UK dates to be a 4th London show and 2nd shows in Glasgow, Birmingham, and Manchester only.

I do think it's great that she decided to do it a little differently this time. Especially giving her northern England fans a chance to see her without having to travel to Glasgow.

17k is the right capacity because Gaga is performing at the old arena. The new arena is opening in Autumn 2015, but the during the renovation, the old one which was closed during the first renovation period in 2014, re-opens during November and December 2014 to let some concerts and events. And in 2015, the arena re-closed and have a second and last renovation period during almost a year before the new arena is opened.

Do you think there'll be enough demand for a 2nd Bercy date?

I mean, with these 3 Paris dates alone she'll be playing to 2 x 6,300 + 17,000 = 29,600

Surely another date wouldn't hurt putting the attendance at 46,000+
