jman 56
Just to tell you, the capacity for the Amsterdam show is 15-16k. Not every section is on sale and Gaga's stage is pretty big, with the BTWB the arena looked full but apparently ahe'd only sold 13-14k tickets for the show. with the BTWB all the arenas and stadiums didn't sell the side view seats that lined up with the castles open doors so thats atleast 1000 or so seats
Luc 4,775
with the BTWB all the arenas and stadiums didn't sell the side view seats that lined up with the castles open doors so thats atleast 1000 or so seats That must've been it, I've been wondering for a while how Madonna for example sold 4k more tickets for 2 shows despite Gaga's second show being packed. Rainbow Unicorn 82
You're welcome ! I hope it will be as close to the final numbers... Now, I will try to explain these european capacities, whiches are really difficults to find actually. Considering that the artRAVE's stage will be bigger than the BTWBall one because of additionnal catwalks added and a B-stage, there's a considerable reduction of the GA standing zone and of the capacity. SEPTEMBER 23 - ANTWERP - Sportpaleis - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 00,000/17,000 (0%) For Belgium, I put 17k because Gaga played for an average of 16,769 per sold-out night with the BTWBall. Beyoncé, with her Mrs Carter Show Tour, sold 17,392 per show, so I think Gaga's configuration can afford 17k people (+/-). SEPTEMBER 24 - AMSTERDAM - Ziggo Dome - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 12,300+/13,500 (91%) Same thing for Amsterdam. Gaga sold an average of 13,187 tickets for two nights. But I forgot that the second show wasn't sold-out, so the capacity for the artRAVE could be a 14,000 or 14,500 in fact. SEPTEMBER 27 - HERNING - Jyske Bank Boxen - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 00,000/13,000 (0%) The original capacity is 14,500 or 15,000, so with a stage like Gaga's, it could be +/- 13,000. SEPTEMBER 29 - OSLO - Telenor Arena - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 00,000/21,000 (0%) 21k because of stage capacity + GA decomposed in three parts. SEPTEMBER 30 - STOCKHOLM - Ericsson Globe - SOLD OUT - 13,000/13,000 (100%) 13k because of stage capacity. Gaga sold an average of 13,723 with the BTWBall, Beyoncé did 13,934. She'll lose a few hundreds of seats with he catwalk + B-stage. OCTOBER 03 - HAMBURG - O2 World - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 12,465+/12,500 (99%) The same as shows above. OCTOBER 05 - PRAGUE - O2 Arena - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 9,721+/16,500 (59%) The same as shows above. OCTOBER 07 - KOLN - Lanxess Arena - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 12,900+/13,500 (96%) The same as shows above. OCTOBER 09 - BERLIN - O2 World - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 12,500+/13,000 (96%) The same as shows above. OCTOBER 15 - BIRMINGHAM - National Indoor Arena - SOLD OUT - 12,500/12,500 (100%) Because of stage capacity. OCTOBER 17 - DUBLIN - The O2 - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 9,903+/12,500 (79%) Because even P!ink with a small stage and a 100 % sold-out show with extra tickets sold, etc, sold 12,889 tickets here. OCTOBER 19 - GLASGOW - SSE Hydro - SOLD OUT - 11,500/11,500 (100%) Don't really know about this one, sorry. OCTOBER 21 - MANCHESTER - Phones4U Arena - SOLD OUT - 16,000/16,000 (100%) Manchester concert for the BWTBall sold-out within minutes, if not seconds, so it was 100 % sold-out and there was 15,543 people. Beyoncé has an average of 14,913 with 3 shows, and Rihanna sold an average of 13,922 tickets with her Diamonds World Tour. I think the 21k capacity is not reliable, because none of them played for 21k, and I never saw an artist doing a concert in Manchester for 18k+ actually. OCTOBER 23 - LONDON - O2 Arena - SOLD OUT - 16,500/16,500 (100%) Beyoncé's average : 16,180 P!ink's average : 17,290 So, due to the stage capacity, Gaga's concert will certainly have a capacity around 16,5k. OCTOBER 25 - LONDON - O2 Arena - SOLD OUT - 16,500/16,500 (100%) The same as the London show above. OCTOBER 26 - LONDON - O2 Arena - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 16,300+/16,500 (99%) The same as shows above. OCTOBER 30 - PARIS - Zenith de Paris - SOLD OUT - 5,500/5,500 (100%) Considering that this is a really small arena, I don't think that there will be catwalks, so the capacity can be 6k. If there are catwalks, the capacity will be reduced. But Katy Perry played for an average of 6,075 with her California Dreams Tour, so Gaga can have the same capacity, if not less, if there's no catwalk. OCTOBER 31 - PARIS - Zenith de Paris - SOLD OUT - 5,500/5,500 (100%) The same as the Paris show above. NOVEMBER 02 - VIENNA - Wiener Stadhalle - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 12,760+/13,000 (98%) Here, I don't really know... Maybe we can put the capacity as 14k, but I don't think it will be more for Gaga, considering that her BTWBall brought 13,826 people. NOVEMBER 04 - MILAN - Mediolanum Forum - SOLD OUT - 9,500/9,500 (100%) Beyoncé concert : 9,964 Gaga concert : 10,753 Both shows were sold-out, but Beyoncé had a B-Stage, Gaga only had a catwalk. Now, Gaga will have a B-Stage + a catwalk, so I think 9,500 or a little bit more is realistic. NOVEMBER 06 - ZURICH - Hallenstadion - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 11,900+/12,000 (99%) Zurich capacity is 13k, but like I said, with catwalks and B-Stage, it will be reduced. Maybe the capacity is 12,5k, but it's really difficult to estimate... NOVEMBER 08 - BARCELONA - Palau Sant Jordi - LIMITED AVAILABILITY - 16,908+/17,000 (99%) Gaga played for 16,934 people at the BTWBall. And I have never saw a singer with a 18k+ capacity at the Palau Sant Jordi. I don't think the 24k apply to all the shows. NOVEMBER 10 - LISBON - MEO Arena - TICKETS AVAILABLE - 00,000/16,500 (0%) I have probably made a mistake with this one, but I don't really know. The capacity can be 17k+, I think in fact. You have to know that the smallest arenas are the most touched by a capacity reduction and Gaga have a big stage + catwalks + B-Stage, so capacities change a bit and it's difficult to estimate... Rainbow Unicorn 82
That concert was in a different arena. By the way, Pink performed to 15k in the Denmark arena with her TTAL tour. Which concert ? There's 23 in my list ahah :) And yes, I know for Pink, but her stage is small and her promoter have always added hundreds of tickets. She sold-out like 130% of her concerts Edited March 16, 2014 by Rainbow Unicorn
