Pure Adrenaline 1,518 Posted December 15, 2013 Share Posted December 15, 2013 Even if I think that ARTPOP is Gaga's best album to date I see why everyone is bashing her album it's not that the music is bad or something is that she shoved in our faces her artistic revolution for 2 years straight and listening to the album u could find only in few song what she was talking about. Plus, the lyrics are cringeworthy and I think it's heavily overproduced, some songs sound like a trashcar exploding. Therefore, ARTPOP is an improvement for me. On the other side, I just had to listen to "Haunted" one single time and was completely slayed. Never happened with any ARTPOP song. Still, I'm visiting the Charts Thread every day, praying that DWUW rises on radio . this is Gaga's other problem... And she set her own standards really high with her own amazing work .. Now let's get back on Topic: Cant wait for the video and The Voice ... I only wish they released a teaser for the video last week but oh well .. Yeah I just realised that The Voice is in only two days! I am so excited! DWUW has kept stable for a while now but this could be what it needs to finally push it up to the top ten. I wanted the video to come tomorrow but would she really just put it out without saying anything? :/ Especially without banners now, they need hype to take advantage of streaming points. We all thought she was gonna go all Bjork and make something crazy and artsy but with a more pop sound. What she really meant was she's doing more of what she has always done, focus on the visual concepts and work with artists to create interesting artistic content to go with her pop music. ARTPOP is amazing, look at the songs ARTPOP, Sexxx Dreams and Venus. When I listened to Born This Way at the first time I didn't get most of the songs and I was just listening to BTW, Judas, You and I, TEOG and Marry The Night over and over again because the other songs were so weird and different, but with TIME I started falling in love in every song Individually, BTW grew so much to me .. I love every single song .. the only song I still can't get is Black Jesus, but at least the Instrumental is amazing ... I Love Bad Kids, I love Fashion Of His Love, I think The Queen is one of Gaga's greatest songs ever ... BTW is on another level there is no current pop artist that can get close to It's greatness. . . Not even BEYONCE ... what the hell, exactly the same here. I've been obsessed with every song on BTW except for BJ for a small while, my obsessions with Bloody Mary, Scheiße, Highway Unicorn and Government Hooker were probably the longest. But it was mostly thanks to the Born This Way Ball, I guess I'll just have to wait for the ARTPOP ball - perhaps the songs will grow on me? Gosh.
