I don't get the point tho .. The video have 80M Views, It's clearly popular and of course it's not only because of the song, but The video Itself make the song the most popular in that particular week, so I can't see anything wrong with that :( But If Radio plays some generic **** like The Monster and Roar, It's ok to top the chart ? The methodology for the Hot 100, along with Billboard's genre hybrid songs charts, has changed slightly to rebalance desired chart ratios for sales, airplay and streaming. With streaming usage rising and new streaming services recently added to the Hot 100's data feed, the streaming portion of the chart has been at or above its desired average ratio in recent weeks. They introduced the rule of streaming because of Harlem Shake and ONLY because of Harlem Shake and they deleted it because of Chatroulette parody and ONLY because of this. At least they must count the views of only the official videos Billboard didn't remove streaming from the HOT 100 system altogether. They just slightly changed it to balance the three factors. Poker Face and Just Dance had a lot of radio airplay but still less than a lot of other songs that are nowhere near as big digitally as Gaga's first 2 hits. . . so if big streaming portion happens in short period of time they will watch the other ratios to see whether is helping the song or not .. wut If So, It's not a bad thing then, right ? That's the main problem with the HOT 100 chart - they do not have any fixed formula with its system.
